Hotels in Waterloo, London

We booked a suit for the a 1 night stay at the price of £284. We had a 3pm checkin but our room was not ready until after 4pm, despite being at the hotel from 12:30. The room was not great! It had ripped carpet, crumbs on the floor, desk chair broken. No toiletries, no water in the room. The pressure on the shower was also low. We went to the bar at 4:30 for a drink. It was not busy and was advised its table service only. We waited 15 or so minutes but no service, staff were seen to be huddled to the left of the bar chatting, despite multiple attempts To get one’s attention but failed, so we left along with 2 other tables. We used the pool, this was cold, but is very relaxing, steam room and sauna had plenty of room. There was a bad smell of sewage in the spa. Breakfast was good. Staff friendly and the quality was Adequate. Luka at the concierge desk was very attentive and observant. This is our third stay at this hotel and 9th stay at the chain. The quality of this hotel does not meet other hotels in the chain.

Love this hotel! The location is wonderful, within 5 mins walk from Waterloo station, the room is spacious and comfortable. Breakfast is lovely as well. From now on this is my first option for London hotel.

Well located near Westminster Bridge and the London Eye, easy walking to main tourist areas. Room was very clean, although sofa area a little dark. Full wall windows gave a wonderful view over Waterloo Station and South London towards The Shard. Breakfast Buffet was reasonable, filling, and a good variety of breakfast choices. Altogether a reasonably good hotel.

to sum up my review: I did expect more of a category 8 Marriott hotel.... pros: staff is very friendly location (not in the heart of things but easy access by public transportation) very spacious rooms amenities (including robes, coffee machine and more) view from room indoor pool cons: long walk to the room (long hallways, require quite some walking) breakfast is a-la-cart which limits your choice and variety curtains do not provide real black-out towels of medium quality

Staff members were extremely friendly and helpful. Location was good, quieter than city centre (plus points) and surrounded by F&B and supermarkets. Very convenient. 5-7 min walk to 2 tube stations (Waterloo and Lambert North) and 2-3 min walk to bus stops. Room was clean, just that toilet had no shelf to put things. Wardrobe rung runs perpendicular to its door rather than parallel, so clothes had to be hung behind one another and it was rather troublesome to take clothes out.

The rooms really need to be a bit bigger. There is only space for the bed and the shower room. There needs to be at least space for a desk and chair so when in the room you don’t have to sit on the bed all the time. If there we two people in our room there would have been no space for us both.

No extra bed, the two beds have been joined together, with children can live together, good location, good breakfast, do not eat at noon in the morning, except for children who do not eat at night are not a big problem, there are convenience stores around not expensive

The advantage is that the location is very good, the restaurant is also very convenient, and most of the people staying here are British working-class people.

Self check-in, no front desk. Checking in after 4 o'clock is a bit tricky. The Ctrip agent has not sent me the check-in email yet, and I have been waiting outside for a long time. The room is large and has a complete set of coffee and trays. It is very close to Waterloo Station and within walking distance to Big Ben and Westminster Abbey. Good location

Downstairs is the bar. I started to think that I was in the wrong place. I didn’t expect the front desk to go in at the bar table, but the attitude was very good. It was super close to Waterloo Station and just opposite the station.
