I had an excellent stay at Holiday in London Hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the location was ideal for exploring the city. One of the highlights was the delicious breakfast served every morning. There was a great selection of fresh, tasty food, and it was the perfect way to start each day. A special thank you to Sultana, who was an amazing host. She was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and always happy to help. Her outstanding hospitality and genuine care made my stay even more enjoyable. The customer service throughout the hotel was exceptional—friendly, professional, and always delivered with a smile. I highly recommend Holiday in London Hotel to anyone visiting London. I look forward to staying here again.

Great location near to South Kensington tube station which was on the circle line making it direct to St Pancras & Kings Cross. Opposite V&A museum, 5 mins walk to National History Museum. 10 mins walk to Harrods and near Hyde Park etc too. Special mention to Scott & Daniel (I believe) on concierge / front desk, both friendly, attentive and remembered details. Also the Dining Room Manager who after one sitting remembered us and where we’d sat for breakfast. Breakfast was buffet style and very good. For London prices we thought we got good value for money. Would stay again.

If you're staying here, you'll find the price reasonable, under 10,000 baht per night, especially since it's in Zone 2. Most places further in are over 10,000 baht. The hotel is clean and the service is standard. We requested two connecting suites for our daughters, and they had a sofa that converted into a bed. The furniture might look a bit dated because the hotel is old, but many things are clean and new. I liked the new Nespresso capsule coffee machine with complimentary large capsules. The tea here is also good. The bathroom has a bathtub with good water pressure, and the shampoo and conditioner smell nice. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because it's a bit old and the mattress isn't very soft. But overall, it was a comfortable stay.

Brilliant stay, staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a nice touch with it finishing later than other hotels and the late check out was better than other hotels in the area. We would stay again!

Well located hotel! Near many restaurants and coffee shops as well as Gloucester underground station. Staff were super friendly and proactive trying to help in every way possible. The room was spacious and had everything needed. Bathroom door wasn’t locking but that wasn’t a big issue. Would highly recommend!

This was my first trip to London, and after a long search, I finally settled on this hotel, largely based on previous reviews. We traveled from Gatwick to London and then departed from Heathrow, and the hotel's location is absolutely unbeatable. It's right next to a tube station and a large supermarket. We skipped the hotel breakfast and almost always grabbed something from PAUL downstairs – for a family of three, a decent meal there cost over 300 RMB. We stayed for six nights, and housekeeping came daily. The hotel layout is very practical too; the bathroom counter had plenty of space for our toiletries. It's a really high-value hotel. We walked to the Royal Albert Hall, Kensington Gardens, Imperial College, the Natural History Museum, and the V&A Museum – it was incredibly convenient. We also tried a few highly-rated restaurants nearby, which I highly recommend, but remember to book in advance!

Amazing hotel! Perfect location for the Albert Hall or South Kensington to get into central London. From check in to checkout the team could not have been more helpful. Beautiful rooms and a great compact gym area. Every detail has been thought through which was nice. The bar had its own terrace area and the service and food was superb. Would definitely return here.

Hotel near Earls Court,London

The location of the hotel is very good, very close to the subway, you can go anywhere. The facilities are a bit old, especially the size of the house is too small, there is no air conditioning, only a small electric fan. The staff is still very enthusiastic. If you want to live a cheaper hotel, you can consider it.

Hotel near Earls Court,London
GGuest User 2026.07.18
The Drey has friendly and welcoming staff and features a spotless reception and clean room with effective air conditioning. The bunk beds featured individual reading lights and convenient USB A and C sockets for each individual, which provided a slow charge. Management of the room booking is fully electronic, requiring an app on your phone to check in and out use digital front door and room keys, which can be shared with all members of the party. The app also allows guests to request housekeeping. The hotel is very conveniently located, close to Earl's Court Station and the short walk between the two feels safe. There is a small area near reception with a paid coffee machine and vending machine and a free water/ice machine. There were unfortunately a couple of issues with our stay. Firstly the room was far smaller than we had anticipated. While there was no size mentioned on the advert, we booked a nest for 4, knowing that this featured bunk beds and assuming there would be adequate space to get in and out of the bed and for up to 4 people to occupy the space to get ready each day. This was unfortunately not the case. The floor space was incredibly tight. The room featured a narrow corridor from the entrance door, past the en suite, which had only a shower and toilet, leading to an area that was only just the same width as the queen size bunk beds and included a large sink and a small shelf for the coffee machine and safe. The space was so small that even with only 3 of us staying it was impossible for more than 1 person at a time to be use the floor space to get ready. This had a significant impact on our ability to get out and about and maximise our time in London. It also felt very unhygienic to have the sink outside of the bathroom with each of us touching handles and switches before being able to wash hands! There was hardly any space for personal items i the room. We managed to stow our small backpacks under the sink and hung up only the most essential items on the 2 normal hangers which were provided on a couple of hooks behind where the door opened. We were only provided with 2 cups, 2 water glasses 4 coffee pods and milk sachets and 2 bottles of water despite booking for 3, though staff were happy to provide more water and coffee, but we were advised to get a paper cup from the vending area when we asked for an additional coffee cup. The first of our party to use the shower discovered the drain was blocked, causing water to pool in the shower tray. We called reception who swiftly sent up someone from maintenance to sort this which was greatly appreciated. There are many good things about the hotel, primarily excellent, friendly staff, cleanliness and location however I would not return due to the space being inadequate for the number of people they advertise can stay in it.

This is a 'decent' hotel. Yes, that's the word. The facilities aren't brand new, but the mattress in the room is still comfortable, the towels are still soft, the toilet paper is still thick, and the hygiene standards are consistently good. The breakfast is a classic English breakfast, meeting the expected standards for a four-star hotel. The location is excellent, situated in a wealthy area of London with very convenient transportation; the subway station is right next door. And the price, especially during the off-season, offers fantastic value for money. Backed by the Millennium Hotels Group and Singaporean capital, it's surprisingly good – the hotel's own restaurant serves authentic wonton noodles and Hainanese chicken rice! Plus, guests get discount coupons! If I had to summarize in one sentence, I'd say this is a well-managed, old-fashioned but not outdated hotel.

Hotel Review: Ideal for Short Stays, But Needs Improvement for Longer Visits Overall Rating: 7 / 10 We stayed at this hotel for 8 nights, which gave us a comprehensive look at the overall service and facilities. While there were several positive aspects to our stay, a few operational and communication issues prevented it from being a seamless experience. Check-in & Service Communication Prior to our arrival, I had explicitly notified the hotel about our late check-in and requested that our room be prepared in advance—specifically asking for the sofa bed to be opened and made up as a third bed. However, when we arrived at midnight, the receptionist was completely unaware of these requests. The room was not ready, and there wasn't even a pillow for the third bed. We managed for the first night, and after reminding the staff again on the second day, the pillows were finally provided. Unfortunately, having to remind the staff multiple times for basic requests was a recurring theme throughout our stay. Housekeeping Issues Housekeeping was another area where professionalism was lacking. On the 3rd or 4th day, we asked a member of the cleaning staff to clean our room, but due to a language barrier (the staff member spoke no English), communication was quite difficult. When we returned that evening, the room had not been cleaned at all. The next day, we spoke to someone who appeared to be a housekeeping supervisor and gave our room number again. Disappointingly, the room was skipped a second time. It wasn't until the evening of our 6th day that Matina at the front desk stepped in and helped us resolve the issue immediately. We truly appreciated her assistance, but waiting until day 6 for proper room service was frustrating for an 8-night stay. Breakfast Breakfast started off fine, but because we stayed for a long duration, the lack of variety became very noticeable as the same items were served every day. The eggs were particularly disappointing: the boiled eggs were heavily overcooked and inedible, and the scrambled eggs were poor. Other items were fine, but it lacks variation for long-term guests. Room & Amenities The room itself was very nice and spacious enough for three adults to settle in comfortably. The only downside inside the room was the lack of wardrobe/closet space and no designated area or rack for suitcases. Location & Neighborhood The location is excellent. There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel with direct links to many key spots. Earl's Court Station is a pleasant 10-minute walk away, and having a large Tesco supermarket right next to the hotel was a major advantage. The neighborhood felt safe and charming. Final Verdict If you are planning a long stay, be prepared to encounter some service and housekeeping friction. However, for a short visit of 3 to 4 days, it is a very solid and convenient option.

The room was fantastic, with a really practical two-story layout. The kitchen downstairs was a lifesaver, fully equipped with all the utensils you could need. Having a washing machine, oven, and fridge made things incredibly convenient. The hotel breakfast was also excellent, with plenty of choices – you definitely won't go hungry. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely recommend it to friends.

The room and service were quite good, and we were comfortable during our stay. The bathroom is in need of improvement; the vanity was broken and unusable, and the tiles were cracked. The window was also in poor condition. Furthermore, we could hear the people in the other room from the bathroom.

Opposite the hotel is the Holland Park subway station, which is super convenient to go to central London. The hotel is located next to Notting Hill and blends with the surrounding family homes. Looks elegant The hotel is small in size but the internal environment is good. I live in Room 5 and open the window to see the scenery on the street. This floor was lived by two people at the time, and the public bathroom was relatively clean. Overall, the experience is good, it is recommended that friends who have a limited budget or do not pursue a full service hotel come to stay.

The environment is cleaner than I thought, and it's about a 12-minute walk from the train station. If you don't have a high budget, this is a good choice.

We arrived hotel early in the morning, intended to store baggages before starting tour. We were greeted warmly by hotel friendly staffs and our baggages safely kept in the store room. Out of our expectation, we were invited to the kitchen for free breakfast. Location of hotel is near to public transports. We can do simple cooking with microwave oven, toast bread and make drinks in the kitchen. We will stay here again when we come to London next time

Śniadania były dobre: świeże pieczywo, wędlina, gotowane jajka, dżemy, warzywa, owoce, kawa, herbata, soki i inne.
