San Domenico House

Amazing hotel and amazing team! Matthia, the manager, was so professional, kind and helpful. And the rest of the team was so welcoming and warm with us. We will definetely go back! And I totally recommend it to anyone, one of the best experiences I had in a hotel.

Absolutely loved staying here. Arriving at the hotel was easy and checking in was smooth. San Domenico House is right in the center of Chelsea and makes it easy to get around London since there's a bus stop a short distance away. Sloane Square Station is also nearby in case you need to take the tube anywhere. Overall, the area is quiet and safe, and has a lot of shops and restaurants nearby but not close enough that there's noticeable noise. I highly recommend staying here and look forward to staying here again on our next trip back!

Very unpleasant experience in this otherwise cozy hotel. We arrived early from an overseas flight and after extensive early morning negotiations we were allowed into one of several empty rooms( we booked a junior suite) for an extra 100 pound fee. The room was nice but right next to a building under renovation so very noisy with hammering and drilling. We asked for another room but were told that the only option was one for 200 pound extra per day. Given the above we requested to stay put and change room the following day and also to extend the reservation for two extra nights. Next day we were told nothing was available besides the 200 pound extra one( which we visited and found to be no better then current one and on a lower floor with a useless balcony facing the street) and now no other rooms available as some last minute reservations had arrived. We complained with the young lady at the check in and asked several times to speak to the resident manager but never got a call back. We suspect the resident manager does not in fact exist and the young lady is totally unprepared to handle the job. With several cozy boutique hotels in London this is one we would never recommend or go back to. Pity as the place is nice but totally mismanaged with no attention to customer needs and a rather dodgy italian management

The best location easy access to bars, restaurants, shopping and all the places. Nice room and friendly staff. We will stay here again thank you :)
