The hostel’s location and cleanliness are solid, but the operation is a disaster.   First, reception is hidden inside a bar downstairs—confusing for new guests. Staff (who double as bartenders) often leave the desk unattended, forcing you to wait. The check-in system is broken: I was assigned an already occupied bed, and another girl told me she’d been moved for the same reason. After being reassigned, I was woken at 3 AM by staff shining a flashlight in my face,claiming there was a "problem" with my bed. They confirmed my name but offered no apology—just rude disruption. Turns out, that girl didn’t return at night, so they removed her belongings and gave her bed to someone else! Instead of fixing their own mess, they disrupted multiple guests in the middle of the night. Unprofessional, chaotic, and downright rude—especially for a chain hostel. Never again.

Good for its price. 15 min walk from Euston station. Was not easy to get in as I arrived late and bar where reception located was closed. They need to improve signs and get a door bell for latecomers

"It was terrible! The room had no proper ventilation for the summer. The fan provided was not enough for the heat — it was unbearable to breathe. I had to shower three times during the night just to cope with the heat. The room was also very dirty! It’s unbelievable that I paid for such a disaster. I’m very disappointed. You should refund my money."

This room was really quiet & clean & the linen was really clean, nice cotton on my skin, & the room had the toilet & shower in the room too. The wash facilities were clean so will try stay at this place & ij this room again.

Pretty much in the centre of Camden. Pub downstairs and decent sized rooms. Can get noisy outside but that’s London.

Surprisingly clean and the facility is okay. The room has all what you need, no need to share a toilet and bathroom with a men if you book female one. Staff friendly and nice.

The hostel's entrance is within the Bar called Belushis, this is again shared for the hostel's reception and hostel's breakfast area. The bar is described as sport themed on their website, but I would say it's more of an alternative music theme instead, as the decor in the toilets, the passage and stage area are fitted with them type of posters. I arrived on a Sunday at around 7:30pm, there was a blonde Irish musician playing a guitar and singing, there were also playing womens' soccer on the 6 TV screens, but every one I saw was watching the musician. The ambience was very lively and enjoyable, as the musician was there and had good encouragement skills, when small~talking in between each song. St Christopher's Inn's check in desk was located next to Belushis's (drinks) bar, a small gap made it a detached unit, the bar tender was also the hostel's receptionist. A photo of your passport is suffice, for the required identification when checking in. (Do not try to use a railcard or an annual bus pass, as these 2 forms of photographic identification are not acceptable.) It's compulsory to pay a refundable £2 lending fee for the key card, which they give back when you give back their key card. Once in the hostel I explored, their entertainment room is called the 'Chill Out Room', the room is big with a big TV screen, the TV is connected to the Internet and is also an (internet) browser. There are also lots of movie DVDs and some boxed party games. There are 2 padded sofas and 2 padded armchairs, a kitchen including a kettle, attached to this room is an additional room for lockers. The dormitory I was allocated to had 12 beds, including 1 shower and 2 wash basins. (Out of the dormitory) beside the corridor there were 2 individual toilet rooms. The morning after I had breakfast, it's an affordable price of £6, which has a big selection of foods and is all self serviced.

Cleaner quite impolite.

The dorm beds don't have a curtain and this time I couldn't sleep as a loud snorer occupied the top bunk.

A very good place to stay. You can feel nice staff and great location. Come back again later thanks!

Would like to say that the hostel/bar staff were very welcoming and helpful and were very professional. Hotel was clean and bedding was comfy and shower room was clean only issue is woken up by a loud noise when shower was being used by others.
