DoubleTree by Hilton London Angel Kings Cross

The hotel is east of King Cross Station, 4-5 bus stops away. Alternatively, you can take the Tube to Angel Station and walk two blocks over. The triple room was spacious enough for unpacking and had a place to store luggage near the entrance. I stayed for three nights, and the room was cleaned daily with supplies stocked, which was satisfactory. However, on the fourth night, they found the trash can hadn't been emptied, toilet paper hadn't been added, the cups hadn't been cleaned, and the shower gel hadn't been replenished. Ugh! Points deducted!

As a hotel where I stayed for four consecutive nights during my trip, this one is truly indescribable. As a Hilton Gold member, I had a truly terrible experience. We were initially assigned an accessible room, which was completely unusable. The washbasin was barely large enough for a hand, and there was nowhere to store toiletries in the bathroom. After repeated requests, we were finally given a standard room. Remember, don't ask the front desk for an accessible room. The front desk staff and manager had no service ethic. They even charged children for breakfast, something no other hotel on this trip charged. I almost emailed Hilton headquarters to complain. Ctrip's service is quite good. They helped me challenge them. Although there wasn't much concrete result, it still felt like I had the support of my compatriots. When traveling abroad, our confidence comes from our compatriots and our motherland. I hope our motherland grows stronger, and I hope Ctrip continues to do better. 👍🏻

The hotel actually oversold!! We booked a 2+1 triple room and paid for it. When we arrived at the hotel at 12 am, we were actually given a king-size bed room, saying that the hotel had no triple rooms. We asked the hotel to give us two rooms, but they replied that they had no rooms left, only one. They asked us to either stay or move to another hotel and they would pay for the transportation. We had no choice but to stay there first and move to another room the next day. Although we later negotiated with the hotel for compensation and breakfast, I was very dissatisfied with the first night. The 2+1 room we stayed in later had a broken bathroom exhaust fan and a broken hair dryer. I don't recommend this hotel

The hotel is very convenient for travel, but the room is a bit small, the bed and bedding are not as good as expected, the hotel breakfast is not very varied, almost the same every day, I hope it can be improved
