The hotel is quite far from subway and has not much nearby. The room is very small. However, it is quite clean.

everything is good here, the reception staff is nice and easygoing, room is clean and comfortable.

Good hotel. Saw some hair and dirt on bed while others are perfect.

The hotel is in Camden and close to a lot of restaurants and bars. Easy walk to the tube although becareful not to mix it up with the Wesley in Euston like I did. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Every thing seems newly refurbished and there are additional hot drinks available at reception. I had a slight problem with the bed but the staff member was appreciative of the feedback. Very positive stay. I'll consider this hotel next time I come to London

What a truly shocking experience we had at The Wesley Camden Town. We came down to London for one night to watch the football and decided to stay at this hotel due to its location in the heart of Camden Town. The closest tube is actually Mornington Crescent but its in a good spot in a little Greek district with Belushi's sports bar pretty much opposite. The building is grand and we expected a great little night away. What the website doesn't tell you is that this property is a converted (and still operating) community church. Now there's nothing wrong with that (would have been nice to have known) but the common areas still look like a community church with very basic corridors and a lift that has the floor numbers stuck to the buttons on badly cut out laminated paper. Not a great start. The room we stayed in was tiny and looked a bit dusty but as we were in London for the football, we ditched the bags and headed straight out to the game and then for a meal and some drinks. When we got back to the hotel, what was clear was just how dirty the room was (there as makeup on one of the towels, what looked like a ***** hair on the toilet seat and bits in the bed). The corners of the room and bathroom had collections of debris and the place was generally dusty. The shower head wouldn't stand up on its own and had to be balanced in place at an unhelpful angle (or held!) to use it. A plug socket came out of the wall when I unplugged my phone charger....the bed moves when you move....I could go on. We were shattered and we thought lets just get some sleep and head off in the morning. But what we discovered was that by far the biggest issue was the lack of sleep we had due to what I can only assume was the dust in the room/building. Both our eyes and noses were watering all night, it was really uncomfortable and we had such a bad night we left before 7am. Not what we intended on a cheeky night away. We made a compliant to the desk who really wasn't interested. He said that management "wasn't available" and the only course of action as we had booked through a third party was to complain to them and they would then escalate to management. We did this and the hotel denied that we complained (we had), asked for proof (we already showed the disinterested guy at the desk) and offered a refund of £16 for a sub standard room that cost £186! We challenged this but they held firm - hence this review. So - beware when booking The Wesley Camden Town. Its a brand I will be steering well clear of in the future and I suggest that you do too.

There are sockets and USB heads on both sides of the bed, which are not available in most hotels in the UK It's just that the room is a little smaller and it's harder to open the suitcase The hair dryer is strong enough The bathroom supplies are adequate The room has a kettle There is an HDTV to watch YouTube. First of all, I won't comment too much on the environment of the hotel itself, but I will talk about the service attitude for your reference. My first night was about what I expected, and I did smoke a cigarette in the room, because there was no no-smoking sign in the room, and I turned on the ventilation system and did not trigger the smoke alarm. The next day at noon, the front desk cleaner said there was a smoked cigarette in the trash can, and asked me to pay a fine of 300 pounds, otherwise I could not continue to stay. I repeatedly emphasized that there was no no-smoking sign in the room and the smoke alarm was not triggered, hoping that I would be allowed to continue to stay without knowing it the first time, and my attitude was sincere throughout the whole process. After the communication failed, I chose to move out of the hotel. The hotel failed to refund and said that I was breaking the law based on the regulations on the check-in form. During the communication, I learned that the reception had given other people an exemption before. I think the Chinese courtesy that this hotel focuses on may be because they think that Chinese people are easy to talk to (easy to bully). I won't comment too much, and I don't want to say whether this hotel has discrimination, but I will definitely not choose this hotel in the future. I have been in London for five years, and this is the first time I have seen a reception so tough, either fined or swallowed the room fee. I have nothing to say, I just think I was unlucky. Thanks to Ctrip for communicating with the hotel on my behalf (although the hotel insisted on eating up my room fee). But I still don't recommend this hotel to Chinese people.

The room is too small. When you turn on the TV, it will show welcome + guest name, which is very warm.

It is very clean. There is a Chinese, Japanese and Korean supermarket right in front of the hotel, where you can even buy pickled mustard tubers for students.

Very satisfied! recommend! I stayed in a small and beautiful hotel that was very comfortable😄👍The shower room was spacious and it was very refreshing to take a bath. What a good rest those two nights were! If you run out of tea bags in the room, you can pick up chocolate powder and so on downstairs. The surrounding facilities are complete and the transportation is convenient. London Zoo is within walking distance. It's not far to the south to King's Cross Station.
