Clean room, good mattress, nice meeting room. Restaurant Monday night was simple but tasty and service was excellent. Good bfast and lunch. All buffet. Nice quiet place to meet.

Unfortunately, this hotel has gone downhill. Our room had a small air purifier in the room. It had a musty smell, so the air purifier was not working well. They had an industrial fan in the hallway, which was very loud. The room air conditioner wasn't working properly. When checking out we told them our issues, and they responded by saying they were having issues with all the heating and air. We have stayed here before, but this will be our last time. It definitely needs updating.

The checkin staff was friendly and efficient. The room was very spacious and clean. However, the breakfast was gross and disappointing. It was cold, and it looked dried out and old like it had sat for hours. The biscuits were hard as could be and the strawberry jam in the jar literally had mold growing in it. The syrup container was empty and when a lady mentioned it to the guy (who obviously wasn't doing his job very well) replied with a snarky comment. It's a shame, because we had stayed there a year ago and the breakfast was much better back then.

Ok but skip the restaurant
If you have ever stayed in a government-run place before then you probably already know what to expect. It’s basic but functional.
I will say that the restaurant has a lot to be desired! First night I had the meatloaf (which I ordered bc I thought would be hard to mess up). I ate 1/3 of it before I gave up. It was cold and not very good.
I gave them another shot for breakfast on a morning that I didn’t have too leave early. Got biscuits and gravy which was flour on flour on flour. This was my last meal there.

Pool needs fixed
We have a family reunion every year and the pool has been down for 3 years now will plan next year ahead and stay at the park lodge this is ridiculous 3 years

Well worth staying here.
I'm always on the lookout for hidden gems when it comes to hotels. And this could be one added to my list.
Location is terrific. Only a few minutes off the 119, or a leisurely drive through the State Park, this hotel offers more than ample accommodation and dining opportunity.
Ideal for hikers and those seeking trail adventures, the Lodge is more than adequate to meet your needs.

Tv didn’t work, asked for help still didn’t work. Room key quit working several times
Kids wanted to swim - we have the hotel until 11 so we packed up our stuff to check out but let the kids swim a little before left front desk lady super rude said if I had check we would have to leave after I said I was trying to let them have our room to clean we just want to swim, if you check out you can’t swim .. rudeness
