Roberto at front desk was beyond rude. Hotel was overbooked & we were given a lesser quality room with a “local”, with other guests in same location who had screaming children. My husband and I could not fit in our room without climbing over the bed to get to bathroom. Quite the shame of Puglia. Beware of the operator.

Roberto is a kind host who helped us with our suitcases up the VERY steep and narrow stairs to the apartment. (And we are hikers!). We found the apartment large but there was no dresser, armoire, closet or luggage rack to put your clothes. We both had to layout our suitcases on the floor. The flat is noisy at night. It sits above a bar restaurant. There is no window from the bedroom area, you have to go to the kitchen area for that. The round bed was large and unique. We really wanted to cook in since we had been traveling for some time eating out constantly, but there was not even salt and pepper, so don't expect to cook here. The breakfast was good with delicious cappuccinos. The balcony was fun to see the fireworks from but it was dirty and not conducive to sitting out on. However Locorotondo is a lovely little town with many beautiful views as well as places to go for drinks and food. Well located for visiting neighboring towns.

“Strict Check-In, Sparse Hospitality”
Locorotondo is lovely, and the apartment is well located in the historic centre—but the experience? A bit less than welcoming. We had asked if we could check in a little early, but there was zero flexibility. The manager arrived at 3:15 PM exactly, as if any deviation might trigger an alarm. He wasn’t rude, but let’s just say friendliness didn’t make the trip.
He walked us to the apartment with all the joy of someone delivering a parking ticket. Once inside, we were met with a mattress that felt like it had survived decades of campfire stories and bunk beds. You could practically read your palm on the springs.
Overall, it got the job done—but if you’re hoping for comfort and hospitality, you might want to keep looking..

Dreamy 2 bedroom ,2 bathroom apartment with an upstairs kitchenette and balcony. Everything is well thought out, from wine glasses and napkins to heated towel racks in the bathrooms.
We felt lucky to have discovered this gem of an apartment , located within cozy little Locorotondo, with a view of the Itrea Valley.
Breakfast buffet was hearty and delicious. Staff were welcoming and helpful.

Locorotondo is an extremely beautiful town and these accommodations are equally beautiful. Very helpful and courteous staff. Room was large and we'll equipped. Location was right in the center of the Centro Storico with terrific views. While staying here you feel like you are part of the community. The only thing I would address is that my shower didn't have a shelf to hold shampoo/soap/etc. I had to put my things on the floor of the shower. That said, I will definitely stay here again on my next visit!

A comfortable, spacious room and separate kitchenette with a balcony that has a glorious view. You do need to be willing to walk up stairs, but the effort is well worth it. Terrific hospitality. Great breakfast. Hope we can return one day.
