"A brilliant stay here with my family in late August. I emailed ahead of arrival requesting a high floor and view of the castle, and that's exactly what we got. We were running late and reception was closing before we were due to arrive, so we emailed whilst on the way. Had a very quick response and instructions on how to check ourselves in on arrival. Our check in was fine and the view was stunning. The room smelt a little bit at first, presumably from the prior guests, but after having the doors open a bit it was soon fine. The beds, including fold out sofa bed were all comfy and bed sheets etc provided. The pool was kept clean and wasnt too cold which was great. Receptionist was very helpful and spoke good English. It was a bit of a shame that you can slightly see through the partition slats to the balconies and rooms next door, but overall the balconies were a lovely addition and worth having. We had some guests a couple of doors down that were sat on their balcony being loud until gone midnight, but luckily it was only 1 night and no fault of the hotel. Overall a great stay and I would stay here again."
