"The driveway and initial impression was of an unkemp dirty house & garden The Loft apartment was dingy with old stained furniture and peculiar wall hangings & ceiling mirror that thankfully was not over the bed. The very uncomfortable bed, a too warm duvet and very odd, old, scratchy bed linen added to the poor impression. There were no blinds on the, very dirty, velux windows which while ok from a privacy point (too high for anyone to see in) come the dawn the room became too bright. All of which was not conducive for a good nights rest. The bathroom was very basic but fairly clean however there wasn’t a shelf nor a stool on which to put your toiletries. The towels were poor quality. The kitchenette didn’t have a tea towel or washing up equipment."

"This travelodge has the best receptionist, usually your greated by someone looking grumpy not here. Amanda's smile and personality shines through and she gives the best customer service. Always happy to help with whatever you need. She deserves a pay rise :-) The hotel is one of the cleanest, its nice and cool in the evening compared to Heston which is a sauna."
