Well what can I say. Just had a family Christmas dinner at the Gwynedd. What a feast we had. The food was excellent and really plenty of it as usual the staff have outdone themselves again. Every time we have a meal here, it's always lovely. Thank you very much to LeeAnn and Gavin for the welcome. And sorry that Martin wasn't feeling well to be there. But Martin if I could give you a million stars today , Belfast ve me all us would. My family really enjoyed the food. Do thanks once again for everything. Well recommended.

Came in for a bar meal, steak pie was excellent, chicken burger was equally excellent, homemade chips were excellent, I think you get the gist. Service was very efficient, everywhere nice and clean and warm with the log burner. We will be back when we next visit.

Lovely cosy atmosphere with a log burner, perfect place to go for a drink, after hiking snowdon. Great beer prices, cheapest we came across in Llanberis, and food is phenomenal, staff are very friendly as are locals, definitely worth a visit!

Stopped off here Friday in the day after a long drive up from Bournemouth, we walked in after a bit of time in the rain, and when we saw tables and chairs by a log burner we were sold! The fire is kept stoked all night. They have Wrexham lager on tap which comes in at just over £8 making it the best value establishment for your post hike pint. They have music playing all night and the food is amazing I had beef short rib and it was brilliant, and massive which is what I needed after the hike, at £17.95 it was week worth the money, you can get a decent burger and a pint for £14.95 too. Come here after or before your big hike!!

Visited on a Wednesday to sample the set menu , some items sold out and we waited a very long time for our meals and was not busy in the restaurant. Despite the wait the food was lovely but service could be improved. We will try again and hope service has improved.

Went for food last night as it was highly reccomend to us. Food was very good home cooked fresh ingredients cooked really well just what you need. Good portion size and brilliant value for money. Excellent choice plenty of options. Would not hesitate to recommend

A truly splendid meal. Fillet steak, chips and Salad for 3, with three pints, for less than £70. The steaks were legendary, and cooked exactly as requested. I have very rarely had as good. This has to be the best food in the area, served in an excellent local pub.
