The whirlpool didn't whirl Sofa bed didn't have bedding Other than this The room was huge The staff was lovely! The Titanic theme was amazing!

Room was a bit dated, door needed effort to get it to close properly. Carpet had some stains on/could have done with a hoovering. Friendly/helpful staff. Hotel is in a great location. Decent breakfast.

The air con was broken so had a noisy fan which was rubbish on a very hot day , carpet and hotel was not the cleanest, no roof top bar in week was open , had to pay £50 deposit for damage to room which said be back in my bank and after 10 days was told then 15 days , then weekend did not count as not working days .still waiting for manager to phone me and no one reply to emails. Coming up to 25 days and still no deposit in my bank . Staff just fob you off saying it will be sorted or manager would call me . But nothing

4 of us stayed the night, very convenient near the train station. We had a good stay will visit again.

The hotel is advertised as a spa hotel, the hotel does not have a swimming pool or sauna for guests. We contacted the hotel before arrival, this was confirmed. We wanted to cancel the hotel. The hotel confirmed that we would get a refund. we never got one. Basically impossible to get through to the reception. Very frustrating.

The hotel is in a good location, very close to the train station, but the facilities are very dilapidated. There are only stairs to enter the hotel lobby, which is very inconvenient.

Had a really enjoyable stay here a few years ago with my friends. It was a big group of us and it was really nice to all share a room rather than being separated. We had two big double beds and two sofa beds, as well as a big bathroom with huge tub (enough to fit 3 of us!) and also a kitchen and dining table. It was clean, decorated nicely and staff were nice. We really enjoyed our stay here and if I were to go away with a big group of friends again I would 100% book here again :)

I should have trusted my instincts that something wasn’t right when I hadn’t heard from the hotel booking provider for a month reminding me of my upcoming stay. We arrived yesterday by train to find it was closed and the lady on hotel reception next door said it had been for approximately 2 weeks ! Unfortunately they did not have rooms available and we were in a hurry to get to a football event at Anfield and needed to drop overnight bags off. Thankfully there were rooms available at hotels on castle street so were able to go there last minute otherwise we would of had to return home and miss the event I’d payed £173 for 1 night and despite some recent poor reviews I decided it was worth taking a chance and was looking forward to staying at this historical place
