Kyriad Lisieux

Location and Accessibility: The hotel is conveniently located and easily accessible, making it ideal for travelers. It's a great stopping-off point between the Channel port and further south, with ample parking available right outside, which adds to its accessibility.

We were looking for a hotel on the outskirts of Lisieux for just a one-night stay. For our purpose, the Kyriad’s location was great. We found the staff lovely and welcoming, and very gracious given our extremely bad French. Thankfully, they had good English, so, thank you! The beautiful restaurant was also their breakfast room and had outdoor seating. We enjoyed a fabulous dinner despite our late arrival, and a good warm and cold breakfast with great coffee the next morning. Our Superior Room was not overly large but perfectly serviceable for one night and well equipped (electric window shutters, air-con, mini fridge, electric kettle, large TV, room safe, good mattresses and pillows). One silly remark: The recycled paper biro the look of which matches the coffee stirrer wrappers is brilliant. It’s those little touches that stay in a traveller’s mind! Our shower room had plenty of hot water, admirably no disposable plastic items but instead real glasses and dispenser-type toiletries, a very useful magnifying mirror, tissues etc. We had just two quibbles, the first one a biggy: When I book a twin room, I want a meaningful distance between the two single beds, not for them to be pushed together to essentially form a double bed. We also found the charge for breakfast expensive. Other than that, we would stay here again at the drop of a hat.

Overnight stay on our way further south. We found the Kyriad ideal. Helpful staff, convenient parking onsite and no need to go looking for a restaurant. Very enjoyable evening meal and breakfast the next day was spot on. Highly recommended and would definitely stay here again.
