Top 5-Star Hotels in Lisbon

We loved the staff, the breakfast, the location, and our room. The concierge was particularly helpful. A typical day for us in the Avenida started with waking up to one of the best hotel breakfasts ever. Some highlights were the crepes, pastries, eggs, bacon!, fruits, and excellent coffee. The central location meant that doing anything was easy: tour pickups, restaurants, walking around to see the sights, buying essentials. The staff went way above and beyond to be helpful and kind. The room was beautiful. It was very clean and we loved the tub/shower option. The walls are thin, so there was a little noise sometimes from surrounding rooms, but there is an extra door between the bed and the hallway to deaden outside noise. There's lots of space to store clothing in the room and the blackout curtains worked very well.

Great room; we stayed on 18th floor that had a winding staircase with an outside patio. The patio was very large and had a fantastic view; it was wonderful. The beds were comfy and we were able to get an extra single bed brought in as there were 4 of us. The bathrooms were great with the rainshower head and sprayer, large soft bath towels and robes. The only thing that was disappointing is that the window on the main floor only went 1/2 way up the wall and there was no window on the 2nd floor bedroom; however you had the door that opened up to the patio on the 2nd floor. It was a fantastic room. The staff was great and quick to respond to any requests we had. Great place to stay. It is close to a park; restaurants, but seems to be more in the business district; however we walked all other to stores etc. Lisbon is very up/down so you are always walking up or down and on uneven ground/bricks. Fantastic place; just wear comfy/walking shoes and be ready to have some steep uphills and downhills.

I appreciated how this hotel was able to accommodate me on short notice after the original hotel I had booked with canceled my reservation. The rate was reasonable and it was located where I needed to be. The Grand Lisboa Hotel is part of a chain of VIP hotels in Lisbon. It was quite clean but slightly run down. The room was basic and since I just needed to sleep and shower, it was fine. All the money has been put into the bathroom with modern fixtures. The bathtub is high and slippery. There was no mat to prevent falling and stepping out of the tub felt a bit precarious. The rest of the room was spare. The bed was quite firm. A table and chair in the room had some sort of dried spill on them. Bottled water was complimentary. I did not make use of the bar or restaurant facilities whilst there. To change money, on goes to a sister hotel, the VIP Zurich-walking distance-and receives a poor exchange rate. Live and learn. The service, overall, is helpful. I was given suggestions, directions, maps, etc. All the things one expects from those in the hospitality business happened. No complaints, there.

The hotel location is very good, located in the center of the old town, a few steps to the shopping center, there are many attractions nearby, even walking distance, the room layout and design is very good, the facilities are very good, the hotel service is very good, especially the kids club , Very suitable for family travel, breakfast is very rich, everything is very beautiful, but I think the shower settings need to be improved, should not have a bathtub, it is not convenient for children and the elderly to take a bath, in fact the bathtub is very impractical.

Hotel condition is ok once. Although it is an old hotel, it was tidy and clean. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The bathroom is clean. The shower room has music therapy, but it was amazing. Amenity is Morton Brown, and the coffee machine is Nespresso. Coffee is of course free. There was no electric port. Very friendly staff. I arrived at the pharmacy the day I arrived, so there was no pharmacy open. However, the desk staff worried and looked up and remembered me a few days later and asked my best regards. I also asked you to recommend a restaurant, but I have a really good house. Water and drinks are always available in the lobby, and in the afternoon you can have a delicious snack in the lobby. Please clean up your sleeping room in the morning and clean up your room so you can sleep in the afternoon. The room is always tidy, so every time I enter, I feel good. I saw you tidying up the bathroom by accident. It was an old hotel that smelled like a sewer, but I couldn't complain because it was so carefully managed that I couldn't blame it. The smell is fine if you close the bathroom door well. Besides, I didn't like frustration, so I kept the windows open so I thought it was better. Oh, when you organized it in the afternoon, you might have snacks like candy or tarts. I wandered around and ate really good. Breakfast was just the right kind (vegetables, cheese, ham and sausage, eggs, fruits, bread, milk, juice, coffee, etc.). The manager was very friendly at breakfast. Oh, we had wine and steak with room service. The location is perfect .. Buses, trams and subway stops are right in front of you and you can walk to the sea just a few steps away. There are many good restaurants nearby. The Trem takes you directly to the main tourist attractions ... Ah, the flats near the hotel make it easy to walk around. I am more than happy to see you later. I recommend it.

Overall, it's good. The hotel is very private. It's also relatively quiet and conveniently located. However, the water that was finished on the first day should be refilled with a new bottle. I called the front desk to send water, but I didn't expect to be charged a bottle of water and service fee. The main reason is that I stayed for four nights in total. Except for the first night, there was no water refill. The next three nights had free water refills, and I was not informed of the relevant fees on the first night. In addition to this problem, Service: There was a breakfast service staff who was not very friendly and looked down on Asians.

This hotel has very helpful and courteous staff. My room was comfortable, with French doors that opened to let the fresh air in. The restaurant downstairs served a BEAUTIFUL dinner, with a scrumptious dessert and nice wine. Highly recommend dining there during your stay.

I stayed at The Vintage unexpectedly for two nights after my airbnb had serious water damage. The staff at The Vintage was incredibly kind and accomodating on such short notice. The breakfast was delicious with egg dishes made to order, alongside a nice buffet. I treated myself to a massage in the spa and that was lovely. Will gladly recommend The Vintage to anyone looking for a warm and beautiful stay in Lisbon!

The location is perfect. The roof commands excellent view of Lisbon. However both the lobby , the corridor n common areas are too small. Breakfast ok. Only the location is 5 star. Others not more than 4

for the price I was expecting 5 stars. A few things I see as less than this ; the spa was beautiful however, for the duration of our stay the spa wasn't up to full use - the tap didnt work, the sauna and steam room were both out of order .. turning a spa into just a pool. And some of the tiles in the spa were all lifting up on the floor. the mini bar was all an extra cost - which isn't unusua, l but considering the other hotel in lisbon that we stayed in first, was 4 stars and they INCLUDED items in the mini bar this was a downgrade from that. The air con in our room was AWFUL , again the first hotels aircon was amazing then we came here and we barely slept the whole time because the room felt warm, we told reception and they came to check it and told us it was fine, but it clearly wasnt. One of the vents wasnt even working. No coffee machine in the room which I expect for a hotel of this level. and for all of the above we werent even offered anything for the inconvience. the positves were the breakfast was amazing worth every penny, so much choice, the bartender was very good, and the hotel was beautiful and a fairly good location. however would stay in the other hotel if we returned- better value and quality.
