Ramada by Wyndham Harrisburg/Hershey Area

We saw this (looks like candy that has been spit out - disgusting!!) on the bedroom floor the night we stayed there and when I reported it the next day, they did nothing. They said I should've reported it the moment we checked in but I didn't even see it until when we were about to sleep. They did nothing to apologize and has not taken accountability into this situation. I sent them an email and they haven't even responded.

The staff was very nice and friendly. The chlorine smell was overwhelming in the lobby and it was even worse in the pool area. We couldn’t stay in the pool area for more than 5 minutes before we had rashes and had trouble breathing because of the chlorine. The room was not that great a broken receptacle cause me a minor zap. A random chair in the far corner that seemed wedged against the wall had a water stair or something on the foot rest part (we stayed away from that it looked like it had seen better days or was ready to just give up. Broken security lock on door, burn in curtain in a non smoking room, the curtain was hard to close, broken door stop on bathroom door, shower curtain was much too small for the shower which cause water to end up on the bathroom floor so much so that the bath mat couldn’t keep the floor without a small puddle. For a two night stay for two people we were given 3 towels. Thankfully I always bring my own towels. The jacuzzi tub was amazing though after we cleaned and disinfected it. The bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was nice. The incessant pounding that started the second morning at 10am and went until who knows when ( we got so sick of it we drove over to Hershey for the day around noon). The first day at 4pm was when we first noticed the pounding at 6:30 we went for dinner because the noise was a bit much and came back around 9:30pm. The next day (second day) we found out when it started again it was construction 3 rooms away they were putting in flooring.

Filthy. Smelled. Tv didn’t work. WiFi didn’t work. Toilet paper holder fell off wall. Plastic baseboard attached with staples. Cheap breakfast. On and on. And it was $235 a night outside of Harrisburg PA. Can’t believe Wyndham/Ramada doesn’t monitor their hotels better.

The morning staff is very rude

This place was a total disappointment! I thought it was friendly budget but I was wrong, what a nasty hotel ever I had so far! The water in the sinks and shower and jetted tub was yellowish-brown. GROSS!!! Our room’s floor is very dirty as kinda sticky. This is definitely ruined my romantic night! The mini refrigerator doesn’t have temperature to make more colder and don’t feel even cold enough. (SMH) I would never go back to Ramada hotel ever again! I recommend you to not go this hotel.
