Mercure Linfenxi Railway Station Reviews

Location: near LinFenXi High Speed Rail Station 临汾西站(10mins drive/ 20mins by local public transport to LuoGuQiaoTou 锣鼓桥头站). Best is that they provide pick-up and drop-off at HSR station, just make a call 3 hours in advance. I dont have local number, so I email them in advance before my trip, they replied my email and provide me their WeChat number so I can make reservation for the pick-up service at the station. Many local tours have pick-up and drop-off service near the hotel (junction outside the hotel), easy and convenient. Services: warm and welcoming services. Tea and drinks in the lobby, luggage storage as well. Room: clean big room, big screen TV, mini bar fridge, bathrobe and comfy king bed. Lavender shower shampoo, hand soap and body lotion, make me feel so so much relax. Laundry: laundry machine are free of charge (washer and dryer). Laundry room provide ironing equipment, books, drink as well. Definitely not get bored. Otherwise, can use phone connect their website to make a reminder while the laundry have done (so convenient). Gym Room: just opposite and same level of laundry room. Treadmill are so new. Breakfast: varieties of choice. Before that I already crave for coffee since it is not so common to find espresso in the local breakfast restaurant. Salad bar, local meatball soup, noodles, dumplings, wantons, boiled egg, fried egg, fried tomato with egg and local cooked food. So many choice and so satisfying. However they dont have egg omelette, it is fine for me. I found that even though not staying at LinFen city centre, it is still fine to stay here as the traffic here is convenient. And here is more quiet and more relax👍 The only thing I dont like is, some customer smoking in the lift and hotel lobby (even though there is a sign in the lift to advice not to smoke), definitely affecting those unlike smoking smell and sick of cigarette smell like me.

The service provided by the staff was first class. The breakfast variety was fabulous as well. There is a night street side food market opposite the hotel which provides interesting food and snacks options. There was also a big park opposite the hotel which provides a good running route.

A fantastic staying in this hotel. Breakfast is large and delicious, it has a nice gym and washing machine, it’s super comfy and quiet. Totally recommend it for business trips or vacation:)

This hotel may seem expensive, but it really is worth it. Super clean public areas and super clean rooms. Bright, light and with a large tv (which you can stream from your phone / laptop) , desk, fridge, kettle, etc... The toilet has a bidet feature which is great. The location is opposite street food vendors and Linfen park. There is no noise from them, so don't worry about it. But it is around a 30min walk / 5 min car to the nearest shopping area, so I'll mark it down a little on location. Facilities are great, great laundry room that also has little items like a lint roller, wool pilling remover, color catching sheets etc... are all provided.  The gym has two technogym treadmills and a rowing machine and bike. All great quality but the gym has no weights at all.  But the cardio machines are very high quality.  Service is great. everyone is super attentive and polite.  The bed is high quality and pillows are lovely. USB A and USB C on each side of the bed.  Wifi is very good and fast, I was able to remote play into my PS5 without issue (just use the streaming TV wifi)  There's a separate desk also. The shower and toilet are separated which means one can shower while the other person can still use the toilet. Towels are great too.  There is one issue I found was that the room was too hot and the AC didn't do much, the staff gave me a desk fan which was helpful.  This hotel may seem costly, especially as many other hotels in Linfen have good reviews, but this is my third hotel in Linfen and this hotel is worth it. If you don't care about the weights in gym then you don't need to think about it and book this place. 

The room is full of smoke smell, specifically with the toilet, smell like mixed of pee and smoke!

Great value with very comfortable room and great service. Staff were super helpful and kind. I was stopping over at Linfen just to see Xiaoxitian, so the location was perfect. Complimentary transfer service to and from the train station in a very comfortable Buick was certainly a plus.

Good room, Good services Good breakfast But 26°C in the room in winter, make it very unconfortable to sleep. Have ask reception, says they know but can reduce the heat. Would be great if a manager address this issue, it's like the hotel is paying/wasting a lot of money to make the customer unconfortable

Very good service, all staff were polite and ready to help with information and travel advice. 靳惠茹 was especially helpful providing information and checking that we were Ok and enjoying ourselves.

It must be full 5 points, it's amazing, much better than expected. My friend who was traveling with me is a family of Marriott, and there is a family price. We must stay at Marriott when we travel. We passed by Linfen and there were no five-star hotels, so we chose this new hotel. We thought it was just average, but we were surprised when we arrived. We were very satisfied with the service and the hardware. It was cheap, beautiful and authentic! Everyone gave it 5 stars! Thank you to the girl in the coffee shop downstairs for sending me the peony flowers to accompany my trip to Shanxi.

The room is very good. Travel in the off-season, the price is cheap. Not far from the high-speed rail station. There is a Hunan restaurant and a small supermarket next to it. Across the road is a night market. The hotel environment is also very good. Check-in in the lobby is very smooth, and any needs are solved in time. The breakfast buffet does not have many varieties, but it is enough. If I have the opportunity to come, I will choose this hotel again.

It was my first time staying at Mercure Hotel. The service was satisfactory and the room facilities were good. It was across from the Fen River and had a good environment. It was very close to Guangsheng Temple, Xiaoxitian, Hukou Waterfall and other scenic spots.

The room is spacious and bright, clean and tidy. It is built next to the Fen River. The environment is very good. The service is warm and thoughtful. The underground garage is very convenient. The breakfast is good, satisfying both Chinese and Western food.
