Grecotel LUXME Daphnila Bay

The facilities were really good, & the service excellent. More of a place for families and children than for two mates in their 40's.

Came with my parents and my brother and we had a blast, the stuff was super pleasant and helpful, great service. Don't miss it on the a la carte restaurants and don't forget to book in advance, especially Danilla village. Highly recommend this resort.

We stayed in May and everything was just perfect. We had a most beautiful bungallow apartment with sea view and most comfortable four poster bed. The all inclusive is surprisingly good, especially inclusive visits to a la carte restaurants. The beach is super clean , lots of sun beds, so green with olive trees and offers amazing views. Staff were so ftiendly and hard working, special thank you to Alexandra, who was so lovely and helpful during our stay. Everything was perfect in this hotel, the only minor negative was shampoo and body wash bottles in the shower room, they either were empty and not refilled or not working, but luckily I had my own :)

Nice location, friendly staff, good cocktail and alcohol choice BUT old rooms, uncomfortable beds on which you feel the springs inside, beach that doesn’t look like the pictures. This hotel is not luxurious at all but asks for a lot of money. OVER PRICED , does not deserve this money. Don’t waste this amount of money in this hotel, go to a hotel which has nice sea such on Barbati beach or Paleokastritsa. I wish I had read the recent negative comments on booking about this hotel without paying. It has 8.4 rating on booking but this is not the case. The hotel answered negative comments by saying “we are taking this into account” but it is obvious that they don’t do much. The hotel needs renovation to deserve this price. If they don’t do it the price should be decreased 30-50 %.

To the wonderful team at Daphnila Bay, As a mum of four young children, I arrived at your hotel tired—physically, emotionally, and mentally. Like many parents, I had been pouring myself out day after day, and while we were desperate for a break, I didn’t realise how deeply I needed rest until I stepped into your care. We weren’t looking for a resort packed with waterslides and endless activities. We were looking for something simpler: a hotel with one main pool where we could relax and keep an eye on all the kids without stress. What we found was exactly that—and so much more. The pool became the heart of our holiday. The lifeguard was attentive, giving us peace of mind as the children played and made friends. We met other families who, like us, seemed to exhale the moment they arrived. There was a quiet sense of community as children played together and parents swapped stories and laughter. These weren’t just holiday acquaintances—they were shared moments of connection that reminded us we’re not alone in the beautiful, exhausting work of raising children. Your team made everything feel effortless, even when I know they were working incredibly hard. Violanda at reception was a lifeline to us. She handled every question with grace, helped us resolve small issues with ease, and when I was particularly overwhelmed one day, she did something so rare and so kind—she simply gave me a hug. It was such a small act, but in that moment, I felt seen and I'll never forget her kindness or the way all her team always met me with warmth and willingness to help. At the pool, Dimitris and Nikolas and others worked tirelessly all day and into the evening, serving drinks, chatting to guests, and never once losing their warm smiles. Their presence made the pool feel not just functional, but joyful—a space where parents could relax and feel human again. Thank you so much! We ate in three of the restaurants and were always met with fantastic service and delicious food. But it was our evening at the Hot Stone restaurant that stands out as one of the most special moments of the trip. We were seated as a family, surrounded by beauty, sipping wine and being served like grown-ups—a rare treat for us. Our children were made to feel welcome, not a burden, and we were able to simply enjoy the moment. As parents who rarely get the chance to eat out in a beautiful setting with our children, it meant more than I can say, and it was a gift to our children to be able to see their parents glowing with happiness and enjoying time together. We also spent a few days at the beach. It’s a beautiful spot and the water is calm and clear. For families, it’s a bit trickier—it was hard to find sunbeds in the shade near the water, and there wasn’t much room for children to play on the sand. If I could make one gentle suggestion, it would be to reserve a small section of open beach near the lifeguard station where kids can build sandcastles and run freely. It would make a big difference
