My husband and I enjoyed another stay in this nice hotel . This was our 6th stay here arriving late on 30th September for 9 nights . We were in a nice room we’ve been in before as it’s got such a lovely view from our balcony . We were taken to our room by the nice porter . All the hotel staff are so pleasant and helpful and can’t do enough for the guests . Especially Pety, Sissy. zach and Maria who are so friendly . There are less sunloungers than when we started staying in this hotel but we still Managed to find some as many guests still reserve them with towels by 7am.. Great choice again with food and drinks . Not so much entertainment as we would like to see maybe bingo ? We would recommend this hotel . Thanks again for another lovely stay . We also enjoyed our night in La Strada restaurant . We also met the manager Spilios who is such a nice man .

Absolutely loved it here, perfectly situated, near to airport & lots of shops & bars The hotel was so lovely like a little village which was so cute, food was excellent & lots of choice at every meal Hotel was clean & gardens were kept beautiful, beach was lovely despite not being able to walk straight into the sea, walk along the pathway & there’s steps down to a gorgeous little cove, but you will have to pay for sunbeds if you stay on the beach Fresh bottle of water left in your room daily which is a nice touch Will definitely be returning to Silva Beach, just the most perfect holiday, thank you to all of the staff for being so welcoming

I arrived around 10 pm Sissy on reception was very helpful and checkin was quick You do have to pay tourist tax on arrival for ten nights is €100 also there are safes in the room at €3 per night The porter helped me to my room and showed me where the pool and restaurant was as we walked through the beautiful pathways and how to work everything in my room A lovely cold plate of food and water was in the fridge and some fresh fruit as I arrived late The room is a good size its a typical Greek hotel room bathroom is very small but big enough for what I needed You get tea and coffee making facilities I took my own mug and just left it there as you get disposable ones in room and I like a bucket for my first cuppa Also shower gel is provided towels and beach towels too Food - All the food is buffet style and plenty of choice there is a burger restaurant and Italian included but I did not try either of these as enough choice in the main restaurant something for everyone in my opinion breakfast buffet is a mix of continental and cooked which is Greek style not English style Lunch and Dinners so much choice the salads are amazing good choice of hot and cold and a great choice of desserts Help your self to wine and beer and soft drinks in restaurant Late breakfast and snacks in pool bar too Lobby bar great service with a choice of wines spirits a few cocktails and soft drinks. Beach bar open in the day Entertainment I did not go to this but they have darts aqua aerobics and some evening entertainment The hotel is like a small Greek village with lots of little passages and so pretty My room on the ground floor with a lovely terrace overlooks the beach one side and the pool the other side and so peaceful but when you go to the front of the hotel you are on the main road with shops and restaurants and bars Rooms cleaned daily if you want it done Free WiFi which is good and can reached everywhere including the beach bar Staff work very hard in all areas but Sissy who works on reception and restaurant is lovely along with Pety in the Lobby bar both always have a smile and ask about your day

Arrived late in the evening staff were very friendly we had a nice ground floor room with a terrace where it was nice and quiet. Room was a bit dated but was comfortable and clean. Bathroom had a couple of issues loose toilet seat and plug in sink broken we did report but it didn’t get fixed properly but didn’t spoil our Holiday. Food was excellent a lot of choice at breakfast, Lunch and dinner with Greek specialties every evening. Pour yourself beer and wine in restaurant which was good. Tried the Al a carte restaurants Italian and burger but wasn’t impressed the Buffet restaurant was better. Sunbeds were always busy some people putting towels on beds early and not going on them until mid afternoon which I think should be policed better. But we did get sunbed most days. Nice cove at Scorpio beach for swimming to use if you don’t use there sunbeds there is no charge just walk down the path to it to the right of hotels beach pool. Staff friendly and efficient Pety in the bar and Maria front of house in restaurant always smiling. Will definitely be back.

We stayed at the Silva Beach, as an older couple, in early October. Check in was easy although a bit of an ouch for the hotel tax and the hire of a room safe. The receptionist tried to insist on cash for the hotel tax but was out of luck as I did not have enough euros. Paid by credit card instead. We were taken to our room by a lovely guy who pointed out where things were in the grounds as we went along. He also carried our cases up to our first floor room. The rooms are perfectly adequate, very clean with a very comfortable bed. It needed a bit of slight TLC in that a lick of paint would not go amiss and the bathroom door did not close properly. Presumably this will be dealt with in the close season. No issues with hot water and the housekeeper did a great job every day. We asked for a quiet garden room and it was just that apart from the odd drunk who needed a volume control. Be aware though, the walls are very thin! Food is excellent with lots of choice and a bias towards Greek dishes which we totally enjoyed. Asian Corner made a nice change too. We tried both the bookable al a cartes and both are worth a visit. Pizza in the Italian is very impressive. Drinks are adequate, beer and wine are both palatable. Spirits are local and are weak which is understandable as they do not want people legless drunk. Some people did treat it as a challenge though. There is supposed to be a dress code in the restaurant but it is not enforced even though the Hotel matrie de is always present. It is a nice restaurant and the ladies make a real effort to dress up but the men do not bother. The way some dressed, Wetherspoons would have turned them away. Top tip, go to dinner when it first opens or you will be queuing outside. Usual sun bed warriors who think they will die if they do not get the same sunbed every day. There were sunbeds always available away from the pool but the hotel was not full. Peak season I guess would be a different story. The grounds are beautifully kept and are a pleasure to walk around. Staff are wonderful never came across a miserable one. They cannot do enough for you and the smiles brighten up your day. With a little investment and some tweaking this hotel would be excellent. I have marked it down only because of the sunbed situation and the lack of dress code enforcement. If you have rules, enforce them or get rid of them and create a fair playing field.

Just returned from a weeks stay at this hotel, the reception was very pleasant, Konnie on the desk was very polite and helpful, the porter was polite, he even came out of the hotel, crossed the road to fetch our cases. Once in the room it was spacious and spotless clean, pool towels were already on the table, and water in the fridge, air conditioning was already switched on. The hotel was very Cretian looking as we walked around the grounds which made it feel really inviting and relaxing, the pool bar was great, ZACK was brilliant and nothing troubled him to have a good conversation with him, the main buffet restaurant was amazing, if you couldn’t find anything to eat here there must be something wrong with your taste of food, the variety was excellent. Morning, noon and night.it was the last week of the hotel before shut down, we thought the quality of food might of dropped off abit with so little guests BUT NO IT DIDNT !!. The quality kept the same (perfect). The staff in the restaurant were fantastic, polite, smiling, and soon as your plate was finished with it was taken away, the place was spotless. Also the weather gods must of been looking down on us because we had hot weather all week, 24 to 30 degrees, brilliant just what us brits need before we go into our winter . We would highly recommend this Hotel it’s a beautiful place, it’s not a concrete jungle, as I said earlier it’s very Cretian, warm and welcoming. Xx

We recently had a holiday at the Silva Beach Hotel and would like to say how fantastic the hotel and staff were throughout our stay. The reception staff/porters gave a very warm welcome when we arrived and offered a thorough guide of what the hotel had to offer. The hotel was in a great location with public services virtually right outside the hotel if required. The room was clean and comfortable with double and single bed with a nice patio area outside overlooking the pool. We went all-inclusive and were not disappointed. The food and choice each day was fabulous and special mention to the executive chef . As a coeliac who requires to eat gluten free food the executive chef took time out everyday to go through my dietary needs. Nothing was too much trouble for him and for that I was truly grateful as that was my main worry travelling. The facilities were first class with choice of the two pools and more than enough sun beds to lounge around on with even more by the beach area. The hotel staff even left a birthday cake and lovely letter in our room which was amazingly thoughtful and really showed they care about their customers and make sure they have a great stay. Big thank you for the gesture.. Thanks again Silva Beach Hotel for making this a fantastic holiday and definitely hope to return in the near future.
