We’ve been coming to Creta Maris since 2018 as a group of four families across three generations, and every visit has been very special and memorable. It really is the perfect place for all ages making everyone instantly calm and happy. The resort is absolutely beautiful. There are pools and a beautiful private beach just a few steps away, which makes it easy to enjoy it. There is also a water park which is always a huge hit with the kids, and adults enjoy it very much too! We loved the fact that everything feels quiet and peaceful, despite having many guests, in the dining areas and the pools. The food is great and there are plenty of snack bars all around the hotel and the water park. We loved the fact that you can always get a nice drink, a shake, some fruit and snacks right by the pool, in a large group with kids someone is always hungry :) The lunch buffet has plenty of variety of high quality dishes and is very convenient by the main pool and beach, everyone enjoyed it very much. Dinner à la carte restaurants are beautiful and the food is great, make the evenings feel a little more special. There’s really something for every taste, and it’s all high quality. The hotel staff is wonderful, very kind and patient everywhere, from the room cleaning to the snack bars. The reception staff was always very kind and helpful, greeting with a smile. A very special thank you to Mr. Manolis Geronymakis, who was incredibly attentive to all our needs. His warm hospitality and personal attention really made our vacation even more comfortable and memorable. This is why Creta Maris is more than just a resort to us now, it feels like coming back to family. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

We had such a fantastic stay here. We had 2 rooms and were 4 adults 2 young children. Special thanks to the main General Manager who I had the pleasesure of speaking to briefly Nikos Vlasiadis and also the assistance of Food and Beverage Manager Georgia Malefitsaki from the great guidance of Nikos. We really enjoyed our stay at Creta Maris, the pool view ground floor room was perfect. The food at all 5 al la carte restaurants were great - we don't usually eat at the buffets however the buffet evening meal was superb on the one occasion...Tomahawk Steaks!!! Eva who was at the Steki bar on one of the days was a friendly member of staff. As were plenty of the others who we dealt with. The young girls at Alatsi were all wonderful and stood out as did all the girls (Maria etc) and Daniel at Pithos. Thanks for accommodating our family. Lovely place to stay.

Die Außenanlage ist top gepflegt, Strand und Meer traumhaft, ausreichend Liegen vorhanden – das war’s leider schon mit den Highlights. Zimmerreinigung nur im Schnelldurchlauf (Bett gemacht, oberflächlich gewischt), beim Einzug noch Haare der Vorgänger in der Dusche, Schimmel in den Fugen, Möbel stark abgewohnt. Das Buffet ist eintönig und schwer, überwiegend frittiert bzw. ölig oder Convenience – gesunde Auswahl praktisch nur kalter Salat. À-la-carte-Restaurants sind unspektakulär, oft leer, aber angeblich „ausgebucht“. Service wirkt gehetzt und desinteressiert, sprechen keine Empfehlungen aus, stattdessen wird geantwortet mit: „Ich weiß es nicht“. Minibar-Wunsch (Bier gegen alkoholfrei tauschen) wurde von der Rezeption ignoriert – ein No-Go. Unangenehm: Sicherheitsmänner am Strand, die Frauen beim Duschen beobachten und pseudo wache halten. Auch der Krafttrainingsraum enttäuscht: Öffnet erst um 09:00 Uhr – viel zu spät für Gäste, die morgens früh trainieren möchten. Begründung: Es muss ein Trainer vor Ort sein, der allerdings nur untätig herumsteht und „Wache hält“. Zudem sind sowohl der Krafttrainingsraum als auch der Cardioraum viel zu heiß, was das Training unangenehm macht. Fazit: Schöne Kulisse, aber Service, Sauberkeit, Gastronomie und Sportangebot weit entfernt von 5 Sternen.

Wunderschöner Urlaub, alles super sauber, Zimmer, Hotel, Essensbereich, das Essen vielfältig und lecker, das Hotel wunderschön, wie ein kleines Dorf, die Mitarbeiter sind alle super freundlich, egal ob Animation, Sport (Dora, Francesca) oder im Spar (lieben Dank für die tolle Massage an Angela)

This resort was a lot of fun! George, Irene, Mike (not sure of his Greek name), and Michalis were awesome. All of the bartenders and staff were very accommodating and kind. We are from the U.S and it was definitely worth the trip! We will miss the staff we met!

We have just ended a wonderful stay at Creta Maris, and it has been amazing the hotel is very well looked after , very clean , fantastic staff ! So helpful and attentive , we were upgraded to duluxe adult sea view on arrival with our teenager . Which was an amazing gesture as then the dining was so pleasant and out of hustle and bustle . The pools are all clean , the water park is fun , and over all this was all great. I am vegetarian and the hotel try’s hard to accommodate and has options which was nice to see . My big issue and why it is not 5/5 is on an evening the entertainment is not great (so do not expect much) , which did not bother us as we wanted to sit with a drink and play cards . But the issue is the balcony of the main bar which overlooks the sea and is family friendly is like sitting in a smoking den … people are chain smoking and there are kids around and no one cares . Oddly in the end we moved to the outdoor adults only cocktail bar in final two nights, where there is non smoking section !!! So it is fine for people to smoke all over kids /younger teens but adults section has smoking free part. Surely it is not hard to split the balcony and have a smoking and non smoking part as honestly is was unbearable .. one night we had a family sitting next to us that were all smoking and would literally stubb out and light up , even through they had kids . This was the only big down side but stops the hotel being 5/5 and it was an issue for us and a downside to evenings

We are here now and I just had to leave a review to help others decide whether to book or not - do it!! I spent ages debating where to book and finally settled on Creta Maris due to the range of restaurants and family friendly elements of the hotel. I am super fussy and super foodie and this hotel is just wonderful on all accounts. The main buffet is great - busy and noisy but they always are. Loads of choice and ways to make healthy salad and protein heavy options. The à la carte restaurants have been fantastic so far. We ate at Mademi last night and the setting and food were truly five star. You do have to book on the app for the following night but it’s easy enough - and you can add rooms so you can sit together if you are a larger party. The cocktails are just so much better than any other all inclusives we’ve been to. The Aperol spritz bar is right next to the main pool, plus lots of other options at the pool bar - all served in nice white plastic glasses rather than beakers we’ve had elsewhere. By night the main bar and adult only bar serve cocktails worthy of any top restaurant bar - all in proper glassware. The purple angel is a must try! If you are like me and struggling to decide where to book I can only say that for us Creta Maris has been absolutely ideal and we’d book again in a heartbeat!
