"The hotel is strategically located in the City of Lilongwe within the Bingu WaMutharika International Conference Centre (BICC) and is accessible from various entry points positioning it as ideally easily accessible hotel. Because of its location, it makes accessing key places easy as transport can also be arranged by hotel reception staff. I like the hospitality of reception staff including the porters who were very helpful, the rooms were clean and spacious, and breakfast is great with a variety of food catering for different dietary needs something critical as most people are now careful about what they eat as it determines their health. I would recommend anyone passing through Lilongwe to try Umodzi Park Hotel for a home away from home life experience. "

"We had a peaceful night at Burley Guesthouse. The rooms are well appointed with a comfortable bed and ensuite. The food choices are limited but good quality with a reasonable variety. We placed our order for breakfast and dinner on arrival and nominated an eating time. The dining room is cosy with tables set with fresh flowers. This is the perfect place for a short stay to relax but with limited amenities other than a gorgeous garden and a billiard table, you will need to organise daily activities away from the guesthouse. You help yourself to drinks at the bar, using an honour system and paid for on departure. Drinks are pricey with white wine ranging from $15 - $20 AUD (about 18,000 - 20,000 Kwacha) per glass. Local beer was okay. Staff are friendly and helpful, with Memory and Isaac looking after us beautifully."

"This hotel is very run down. The rooms are shabby, the bathrooms are not very clean. Water comes out of the taps brown. The restaurant is halal so if you want a drink you have to go to the sports bar next door. The swimming g pool is empty with broken furniture around it. The whole experience was not pleasant I’m afraid."
