I had a great stay at this hotel! The location is perfect—just a short walk to Lijiang Old Town, which made exploring super convenient. The owner is extremely friendly and helpful, always ready to offer tips and assistance. The rooms were clean, tidy, and well-maintained, providing a comfortable and relaxing environment throughout my stay. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Lijian

When you travel on budget, this hostel is great. Reasons are below: - price is modest - location: just a mile to Lijiang old town with plenty of minimart and local stops for meal. - ambiance: quiet alley, cozy space, friendly and helpful staffs. - facilities: all good with free drinking water water to refill, top floor to dry laundry. We stayed there 7 nights and felt great. Thank you.

Was a nice place for a few nights in Lijiang. Lots of good restaurants around and not far from main old town area.

Great location and service

This was my first time in Yunnan, and my experience in Lijiang was made truly memorable thanks to this charming, family-run boutique hotel. I arrived very early in the morning after taking an overnight sleeper train from Kunming. Check-in was officially after 2 p.m., so I simply intended to leave my luggage and freshen up before exploring the area. To my pleasant surprise, I was warmly welcomed by Chun Kai, the owner’s son, who was managing the front desk that morning. Upon learning that I had an overnight journey, he kindly offered to let me check in early if a room became available. Within 15 minutes, a freshly cleaned room was ready for me, and I was like wowww and really appreciated it. Throughout my three-night stay, Chun Kai continued to be extremely helpful. Despite having to return to his hometown for his grandmother’s birthday, he was very responsive to all my inquiries about local food, attractions and tips through WeChat. The room was clean, well-maintained and comfortable, with an ensuite bathroom, a water heater and an air-conditioner that doubled as a heater. For the price I paid, the room offered excellent value. In terms of location, the hotel is not situated within Lijiang Ancient City, but that turned out to be an advantage. The surrounding neighborhood is quieter and more affordable, with a wide variety of local eateries and two major supermarkets nearby, i.e. Likelong Supermarket is less than a five-minute walk away, and Walmart is just a bit farther. Above all, it was the kindness and genuine hospitality that left a lasting impression. I found it difficult to leave, despite my short stay. If I return to Lijiang, this hotel will certainly be at the top of my list. P/S: The Google Maps address currently appears to be inaccurate. I recommend contacting the hotel directly for the correct location—entry is via the West Gate.

Adequate conditions, extremely good given the price. I booked this to be near bus transportation area, but Google maps has it completely wrong. Still, great value for simple accommodations with western bathroom and plenty of hot water.

Rooms and service were fine, and it is worth the price for a short stay, but you do get what you pay for. Bathroom is a squatting toilet. It's located inside a gated block of many hotels/hostels.

Good and quiet location outside of ancient city. Near the bus station and bus stop to take the local bus. Many eateries around. The young boss is helpful and can have a good chat. Negative thing is just noticed some dust under the bed.

Unfortunately the owner was quiding when I checked in but there were friendly guests who were Helsingin him.

Good place, we were 2 in a 3-beds room, so lots of space. We could make laundry for free

Owner is very helpful. Location is amazing, 5 min walk to old town of lijiang. And many restaurants cafes around the hostel.

It was nice stay with family, basic amenities are satisfied. Hotel service was appreciated, front desk help us a lot. Close to the ancient city plus near restaurants from hotel are cheap as compare those restaurants are in the ancient city.
