This ancient building has a beautiful courtyard and very nice, spacious and comfortable rooms, in wood, with a very classical nice taste. The best thing is the terrace with views over the roofs of the old city and a sofa to relax. The owner is incredibly friendly, he invited me to drink tea and eat sweets with him. The location is very convenient right in the middle of the old town. Beware that taxis cannot get into the old town so you will need to walk there. You can even wash clothes there. I absolutely recommend this place.

It's in the heart of the ancient city, so expect the nearest taxi dropoff to be about 10 minutes away. Still a very pleasant staying experience being in the middle of the amazing tourist spot. Owner is enigmatic, would strike a conversation with you if you're free. Room was very nice and amenities were all superb. Would honestly recommend staying here again inspite of the long walk in, which perhaps could really only be the small negative with all the positives.

It was a really good stay for me Front desk was friendly and nice Balcony has a good view and chill And the owner always treat me nice tea and we have a small talk At first I couldn’t find the location because driver can only drop me off at the road side and you have to carry your luggage walk around 10mins to reach the hotel But after I contact the owner , he immediately come out and help me I’ll definitely come back again

Great service and it’s in a beautiful area of lijiang. Some of the nearby inns are a little bit nicer but this one is cheaper and better value. (Picture is the view from the roof).

Awesome place in the middle of Old City. The rooms are spacious, the WIFI is great enough and host is cool/helpful!

Love the location and well designed courtyard. Rooftop view was great. I booked a tour to Shangri-La via the inn manager, he was so kind to walk me to the place where I would wait for the tour pickup. Nice service.

Great place to stay for any traveler type. The inn is right in the middle of the Ancient city Lijiang. Very happening place all the time with lots of shops and markets around. The nightlife is also amazing. The interior of the inn is also beautifully designed. Room was great- with air conditioning.

Host is really friendly And gave me some information for Lijiang. He recommended me really nice place around a accommodation. If you cannot speak chinese you can communicate with him through the wechat. It was comfortable. Condition of rooms was nice Location is very convenient to go somewhere.Also he helped me to book a tour to snow mountain.

Located near the heart of Lijiang Ancient Town, this place offers a beautiful space to rest with spectacular views from the rooftop. The owner has great taste, recommending places to eat, offering tea, flower cakes and a celebratory toast of bijou! 🥂 I left a hat behind on a 5:30am start to next destination which was efficiently located by the staff and I was able to collect several days later on return. I couldn’t recommend this place more highly. PS Take into consideration that as this place is near the centre of the old town, you will carry your belongings several hundred metres to get to the place and the sidewalk in town is relatively unforgiving on your luggage wheels

A small homestay located in the heart of the old town. There are enough shops and restaurants nearby. It's about a 10 minute walk to both the north gate and the south gate. Keep in mind if you have heavy luggage you would need to drag it around the cobblestone streets because no vehicle can reach the place. The service of the owner alone makes me rate this place 5/5 stars already. It didn't matter how many questions I asked, everytime he helped me out. If you are a solo traveller or don't speak any word of Mandarin then this is a great place to stay, the owner will make sure you don't get lost. While the service was perfect and couldn't be any better there are some negative things worth mentioning. First of all, the soundproofing is really bad. The room's door is full of holes and gaps so you can hear everything that is happening outside. Moreover, you better make sure you don't have any upstairs neighbours because you can hear everything what they do as well: moving around on the wooden floor, flushing the toilet, opening the tap, taking a shower. Second, talking about showers, the shower in the room takes quite some time to heat up (similar to most hotels in China) but the more annoying part is that its impossible to get the right temperature for the shower: its either way too hot or cold. Lastly, the curtains were full of disgusting stains and didn't block out all the light so I recommend just getting them replaced. All in all, this place has some positives and some negatives. Decide for yourself if you want to stay here. In my opinion, despite the negatives, I would definitely stay here again and recommend you to do the same.

The owner is so supportive and gave us the best advice for our schedule, the best price for our landtour, where to buy what we want, etc., share car, 3. The owner and staff were so friendly that I am sure that I will come back and introduce my friends 4. View from 3rd floor is amazing

The owner guy is very friendly and kind. Location is good, right in the middle of ancient town but may not easy for first visit (also second and third visited 🤣🤣🤣) Put on this location “26.869724,100.236893” to google map, this may lead you the right location of this place. Will definitely stay again for next visit

My Taxi had droped me off at a totally diffrent srea almost 1 km away from the Inn. Mr.Wangzhen was kind enough to personally come to pick me up and was kind enough to carry my luggage. Also help with other matters re Glacier Park. taxi etc. Highly recommend

Hotel are inside Ancient town. You can hire a tricycle to send your luggage to hotel with 15¥ charge. Hotel staff very helpful by suggesting places to go. We served with a pu’er tea as a welcome drink. However, no iron provided as the hotel said Ancient town not allowed to use higher voltage electric items. I lefted my luggage for more than 8 hours at the lobby and they allowed it. Thank you very much
