Lightning Ridge Outback Resort & Caravan Park

Not to bad for what you pay for. Just a bit disappointed that the hot water was not hot even after running after 5 minutes. Bed was ok for a one night. it was basically clean but when i was leaving and checked under the bed to make sure the kids did not leave anything behind there was food packet under the bed of beef jerky which we don’t eat. recommend to maybe vacuum under the beds. other then that it was great to stay with air con for a change in the ridge I was great by a lovely lady. restaurant was great, there was an issue with my meal but they had no issues with fixing it and was very apologetic. food still tasted great.

We stayed on a powered site for 2 nights and enjoyed a fabulous meal at the onsite pub. Staff were friendly & the beer was cold!

My colleague and I had the pleasure of staying at Lightning Ridge Outback Resort & Caravan Park, and our experience was absolutely wonderful! The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The food was absolutely delicious — cooked to perfection and full of flavour. The resort itself is clean, tidy, and beautifully maintained, and the rooms are both comfortable and stylish. They’re also great value for the price! Finding the resort was easy, and it truly has everything you could want for a relaxing stay. There’s a pool for the family, a bistro serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner, plus live entertainment at the pub right next door. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to return with our families for another trip. Highly recommend this amazing place to anyone visiting Lightning Ridge!

Great location. Staff were very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Room was good. The bistro food and service was excellent. Overall, a terrific stay.

Couldnt find anywhere else to book at short notice. The night we arrived, no-one was answering phones so we drove around for ages trying to find our cabin No 7 - situated right down the back oposite the staff or owners quarters - really quite messy & awful (worse apon sun up), plus we had to listen to a domestic. The caravan type room was smelly - the carpet was grimy underfoot, i slept in my clothes and couldn't get out of there quick enough. Urgh

What a fantastic place to stay. Was a beautiful big room, older and full of character. Great swimming pool, bar & bistro. Clean tidy highly recommended.
