Front desk people were terrible, no good customer relations. There was no light throughout the night, I slept in the dark, and heat was terrible . The restaurant was another hostile place. I can't recommend the place for people.

Do NOT stay at this property, it's awful! We left Nashville around 4:00am for cheer comp and we were there all day. I didn't check in to my hotel until around 9:pm. I went to my room and the air didn't work, after traveling all day we just wanted a comfortable bed and some good sleep. We didn't get that! Upon arriving to my room our air wasn't working and the toilet was clogged. I called the front desk immediately and didn't get maintenence until 12am. The air never worked and we were all miserable and got no sleep. I was also grossly overcharged! Two 25 dollar holds, 75.60 for our dinner at bistro (ligit charge) and another 89 dollar charge we didn't do. They also charged us 18 dollars for water that were supposed to be free. All charges are currently pending, I'm just waiting to see if these changes come off. They can keep the hallways cool, but not the room you pay for!

I’ll start this by saying that we are platinum Marriott members and are (were) extremely loyal to the Marriott brand. Our daughter’s wedding was last weekend in Lexington. Many of our guests and most of the wedding party booked this hotel approximately a year ago. They paid in full and had confirmation numbers from Marriott. I will also say that they booked with a third party which was 100% their mistake. A week before the wedding, this hotel cancelled quite a few of their rooms. The third party did not cancel, it was this hotel. Also, the hotel never notified them… the reservations simply disappeared. We were told they overbooked. When our guests called, they were treated rudely by Dan, who talked over them and was condescending. We called to try to determine if we should anticipate additional cancellations. Adam was polite and kind on the phone but did not call me back as promised and Dan was supposed to contact me and never did. When our guests checked in, several were told they would have to switch rooms during their stay and others had rooms that had not been cleaned. It was a crazy weekend in Lexington. Texas was in town for football and Keeneland was running, so I’m quite sure third party bookings were resold for substantially higher rates. Again, I understand that hotels CAN do that, but because you can do something doesn’t mean you should, and there is no excuse for the manner in which we were treated by management when we attempted to find out if additional cancellations were forthcoming. We will be looking for another hotel chain. This was unbelievably stressful. We are fortunate to have many friends in the area who have large horse farms with guest houses who came to our assistance. Sooo disappointed in Marriott.

I am writing this review about the Marriott Bonvoy Loyalty program itself, since Im unable to review them. I am choosing one of their hotels around the world to voice my review. I have been a Marriott Bonvoy member for some time, and while I’ve enjoyed many positive stays, my most recent experience has left me questioning the value of the program. During a stay at a Marriott property, I encountered a serious cleanliness issue—dead bugs in the bed sheets upon check‑in. The hotel eventually offered compensation after multiple complaints, but what disappointed me most was the lack of response from Marriott Bonvoy at the corporate level. As a loyalty program member, I expected Bonvoy to step in, acknowledge the situation, and show that my loyalty mattered. Instead, there was silence. Where Bonvoy fell short: No corporate outreach or apology after a serious issue. No effort to retain my loyalty as a member. Missed opportunity to demonstrate that Bonvoy stands behind its members, not just its hotels. Constructive suggestions for improvement: When a member reports a serious issue, Bonvoy corporate should proactively reach out, not leave it to the property alone. Small gestures—such as a temporary status boost, bonus points, or a personalized apology—would cost very little but go a long way in rebuilding trust. Loyalty programs should recognize that true loyalty is earned not when things go smoothly, but when problems arise. Other hospitality companies, such as Disney, understand this principle well. They know that when service fails, that is the moment to show guests they are valued. Marriott Bonvoy could learn from this approach. Bottom line: I want to remain loyal to Marriott, but Bonvoy must do more to support its members when things go wrong. A loyalty program that doesn’t advocate for its members risks losing the very loyalty it was designed to build.

It is a nice big hotel. Very good facilities. Good size rooms. Very comfortable beds. We were here for a wedding in the family. All arrangements were good. The staff is well trained. Their bars and restaurants are fine. The parking is ample and walking trail is nice

Great atmosphere. Loved getting to watch Little League Baseball on the big screen while sitting in hot tub. Then sat by the fire pit and relaxed. Great stay.
