Everything about the horseshoes is 5 star. The garden rooms have they own little terrace. Delicious food. Clean and comfy rooms. Great staff and owners. Lovely relaxing atmosphere. Beautiful scenery. Good value for money. Very quiet and peaceful.

We stayed for 3 nights in this absolutely fabulous pub. The location is idyllic if you like peace and quiet. The rooms are all very well appointed, modern and spotlessly clean with lots of lovely touches. We had breakfast and evening meal each day and the food was so fresh, beautifully cooked and tasty. The prices were good too. Thankyou to all the wonderful staff for your continuing hard work .... especially Charlie the owner, Iain the manager ..... we will definitely be back.

What an absolute gorgeous pub and stay this is! If I could give this place 10 stars I would! Couldn’t fault everything anything at all from the moment we arrived. Amazing food on an evening and breakfast was lovely too. Everything just seemed to be set up and ready for expecting you. Nothing was too bother and the staff are the friendliest team I have met. Will definitely return and recommend to anyone staying in the moors. It’s ideal location and not too far from anything really! The rooms are spotless so clean and welcoming! The surroundings with the horse stable is nice and all the extra touches throughout our stay just made it a lovely getaway for me and my husband! Thanks team 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Marvellous stay on Thursday night with Sister in Law and her husband, got to have a sit outside with a drink followed by a really good meal that evening. The breakfast next morning was superb. All the staff are so pleasant and very helpful, nothing is too much trouble for any of them. Highly recommended whether you are just looking for a good meal or having an overnight stay.

Well what a really pleasant place, surpassed all expectations. We stayed in The Horseshoe Suite and it was perfect for a short stay. Our only problem would have been the bath size - small, but the shower was more than adequate. The bed was very large and very comfortable with exceptionally white bed linen, every where was very clean and tidy. The restaurant was superb, great food, lovely surroundings with good prices and finally each and every member of staff were genuinely nice, polite, attentive and knowledgeable people. Thank you - we will be back.
