Grichting Hotel & Serviced Apartments
"The hotel is not far away from the bus station. You can walk down to the Leukerbad Therme. There is very nice view to see the mountain. ⛰️"
Thermal Hotels & Walliser Alpentherme Leukerbad
"The hotel is in serious need of renovation. There were only fifteen people staying and so was rather ghost like. We were given rooms on the top floor which were small, with tiny windows looking out on the roof with no view which was a shame as other floors were obviously available. The bathroom has chipped tiles and cracked basin. The breakfast is a good spread but everything has been sitting for ages so cooked things are dried out. The bar is permanently closed and there is no sitting area, and the pools although hot, the jets are no longer working. It is a shame as it has so much potential."
Therme 51 Hotel Physio & Spa
"We stayed for a weekend in the Thermes 51 and had a lovely experience. Restorant and the Spa are amazing. Breakfast was also nice. Kids are allowed in the spa area (in the indoor swimming pool and outdoor jacuzzi) under parents' supervision. Staff is very friendly and willing to help in case something is needed. Would highly recommend this hotel to my friends."
Le Bristol Leukerbad
"The property is well located within the beautiful village of Leukerbad. Great pool and surroundings, perfect for hiking and relaxing, close to the thermal baths and to all facilities & restaurants in the town. The room was clean, comfortable, and while the bathroom was VERY small, it had all the necessary facilities and was clean. If you’re in Leukerbad to enjoy hiking, bathing, tanning, or simply hanging by the pool, it’s a perfect hotel. If you’re looking for a place with charming and forthcoming 4-star service, then you can forget this place without a second thought. My daughter has Crohn’s disease and cannot eat solid food. We had reserved a family room for 4 including breakfast. Upon arrival we asked if we could remove one BF from the bill, as my daughter wouldn’t have any: That wasn’t possible. We asked if we could benefit from any alternative offer (even a drinks voucher for the bar would have been nice). We were told “No, can’t do anything, my hands are tied!” – by whom I wonder? You have to book the restaurant for the evening. Having had a tiring drive with 2 young kids, we pre-booked the table and ordered the food for 7pm, we arrived at 7pm, the place was nearly empty, the food arrived at 8pm… my kids were already waning. The food was mediocre at best (even in Switzerland I’m not used to pay 130 Fr. for tiny portions of deep-frozen food). At 9pm we asked for the bill, and were told “You have to wait”. So we decided to leave and put our kids to bed instead. Even with the tired kids in tow, the waiter shouted after us “can’t you just wait 10 minutes?”… by now the place was totally empty… why? Spending some time at the pool with wet hair, my daughter asked if she could have more conditioner. We were told “No, only 1 per person per stay”… of those tiny tiny bottles… why? At least as we checked-out, the annoyed front office employee didn’t ask us if we enjoyed our stay (smart move there). And as we left the hotel for the last time before driving back home, an employee we had never seen before left us with these beautiful last words: “THAT’S THE DOOR!” (I’m not kidding)… Now, I understand the hospitality sector is in crisis because of a lack of schooled personal, but the lack of charm of the hotel staff (apart from a young lady at breakfast and a friendly young man in the restaurant) was almost comical. "
Résidence les Sources des Alpes
"We stayed for 2 nights. We arrived by hiking to the hotel, hot and sweaty. We were greeted by friendly people and offered cool towels for our face and neck - so nice. Our rooms were spacious and very comfortable. The care for our rooms and our needs felt like we were the most important guests. The pools are incredible. The outdoor pool on day one was cool and refreshing. On day two the outdoor pool was like the largest hot tub. Our son, thinking it would be cool, jumped right in without feeling it. What a shocker!!!! The indoor pool is warm and relaxing and perfect after a days hike. We ate breakfast and dinner at the hotel. Again the service was incredible, attentive but no over the top. The food is delicious. "
Hotel Alex
"In August, my husband and I stayed at Hotel Alex for four nights, and our adult son joined us for three. We appreciated the warm welcome, the clean rooms with balconies, the generous breakfast and the great location. We could easily walk wherever we needed to go -- to restaurants, lifts, thermal baths, the bus stop. Thanks to our hosts for a lovely stay."
Hotel Regina Terme
"This hotel is very cost-effective. The scenery outside the hotel is great. The hot springs are comfortable to soak in. The facilities are a bit old, so it is very cost-effective. Unfortunately, I forgot my iPod under the pillow and sent an email to the hotel, but nothing happened."
Hotel Dala
"We had a fantastic stay! The welcome was incredibly warm, and the manager was truly wonderful. She is perfectly multilingual, switching between French, German, and English with ease. Right from the start, she was very proactive, giving us great insider tips on local activities and the best dining spots in town. We even received a 15% discount voucher for the thermal baths! To top it off, we were upgraded to a very comfortable room with a much nicer view. The location is absolutely ideal: right in the town center, just a 5-minute walk from about ten different restaurants and bars, and only 5 minutes away from the thermal baths. A perfect experience that we highly recommend. Thank you again for such a great welcome!"

Hotel Römerhof
Alpina
"This place is quintessential Swiss. Adorable, hotel, friendly staff, perfect sized rooms, complimentary buffet breakfast, restaurant and bar (that make the best Hugo’s I’ve had so far in Switzerland). They offered of free Gemmi pass for the gondola to go the top of the mountain and the pass could be used for other various activities, which we didn’t get to take advantage of (this could save you approx $25 CHF). They also offered discounted tickets to the thermal spa in town (which is a must do after a long hike). This hotel is centrally located in town but it’s also right next to the clock tower, which goes off every 15 minutes and then what I call random chiming on the hour. It can be a bit much right next to it. Also, room 15 is right next to the door to go down to the restaurant and reception so it might be a little more noisy. Otherwise, I would highly recommend this place and I loved the staff and they were very helpful, and spoke English."
Hotel Restaurant Escher
"Great value for the price. It’s a very well-kept place with cozy interiors dating back to the nineties, when “Swiss quality” really meant a difference. The staff is welcoming and friendly. Although the breakfast starts somewhat late for a hotel in Switzerland (after 8:00) you’ll get to enjoy your traditional morning meal in a beautiful restaurant room with views of the Alpine panorama. A great choice we made for our trip in early March, where we made the winter walk from Sunnbüel (Kandersteg) to Gemmi (Leukerbad)."
Hotel Viktoria-Leukerbad-Therme
"I stayed with Inger & Rinaldo high up in Leukerbad that I am fairly sure I was level with the peaks on a Toblerone bar!: The mountain tops covered in snow, crisp air, breathtaking views and a wonderful local thermal spa. Hotel Viktoria is absolutely 'Alpine' for comfort. Check-in easy, charming and efficient. Swiss-tuned, so to speak. The key card to your room also provides access to local cable cars (which you need to reach the skiing slopes, amongst others) and further outdoor activities. Another key provides direct access to the local thermal spa with indoor pools, 2 outdoor pools and sauna - instead of turning left for breakfast, you head up one floor and turn right into the spa. So SO relaxing from the minute you decide to enjoy yourself at the spa and / or sauna. I enjoyed the spa on a daily basis (again all included in my stay). After a few hours in the thermal baths, I was basically Switzerland myself: calm, balanced and strictly neutral about everything. Rooms are large and have a balcony overlooking mountains, the town and / or the spa. Snow-capped peaks provided for maximum postcard impact! Breakfast is a triumph. It feels like 'Grimm's Fairy Tales': "Little table, set yourself' or "Tischlein Deck Dich" if you still remember your German from school. Fresh local bread from the 'Wallis' region, hot coffee & tea made to your liking, always with a smile and friendly advice from Inger, Rinaldo & Maria. My only real complaint? ... Leaving!"
