The Begas Lake Resort offers a special stay in the Pokhara area. The arrival is surprising, because you, your luggage and all.are taken to the resort by boat, The Resort consists of individual bungalows built on the slope at the edge of the lake. The restaurant is also located there where breakfast, lunch and dinner are served. The staff and staff are friendly and helpful. The food is excellent and the terrace offers a beautiful view.

Schönes Resort. Friedlicher Ort direkt am See mit in der Natur. Viele Blumen und Schmetterline und Vögel. Mit Glück sieht man auch das AnnapurnaMaßif. Freundliches und äußerst zuvorkommendes Personal ( fast schon zu nett) Familiäre Atmosphäre( Chefin und Manager stellen sich persönlich vor). Sauber und stilvoll eingerichtet. Große Zimmer mit Terasse und Seeblick. Ayurveda Behandlungen sehr entspannend und professionell. Es konnte auch am Yoga teilgenommen werden. Speisen sehr lecker, auch die ayurvedischen Gerichte. Es konnte auch z.B. kaffe bestellt werden, extra Brot oder Dessert auch wenn das nicht im.Plan vorgesehen war( ohne extrazahlung). Man kann entweder über die Straße an/abreisen mit recht steilem Treppenauf-/abgang oder Über den Seeweg mit Ruderboot. Es ist ein Ort zum Entspannen/meditieren/Reinigung, es gibt wenig Möglichkeiten on der Nähe für Abwechslung. Tipp bringen sie Bargeldfür Tipps mit, da es keine ATMs in der Nähe gibt.

My family of 4 adults had a crazy good visit here. We love the outdoors and animals, wildlife, friendly staff, and excellent food, all of what we experienced here. The resort is perched on a mountainside and lakeshore so expect steps, making for good exercise as you explore the stunning grounds. Our 45 minute paddled canoe ride to the resort was so calming and unique. Our only regret was that we didn’t stay long enough.

Please do not book this hotel. Whatever it shows on their website photos its completely different. It has 265 steps to go down hill to get to hotel reception and then they allocated your room which another few more steps to go down hill. room were very basic, no enough charging point available. even lightning was so poor. Although all staff had very big smile on their face. Visited in Jan. 2025 and we only the family in whole resort they had their set breakfast they do not change this, I think this is very poor. While we were having our breakfast because we were only three people in dining area they close the lights in another dining area. Please don't book this hotel.

This has been the highlight of journey to Nepal. Lake Begnas Resort is an had the privilege to enjoy for day & nights. The place has managed to create a place where you are welcomed with open arms. The staff are serviceminded above expectations. All in all can highly recommend this place to everybody who wants to enjoy friendly and openhearted atmosphere, great food, smiling yoga and lovely ayurvedic treatments in a beautiful surrounding. Beside that they grow their own vegetables and focus on sustainability. You should definately go here!!!

Most gentle and polite staff. Animals and nature all around!! Truly a calming environment. Thank you for the experience, looking forward to come back next year. Pro tip: wake up early and catch the sunrise at the anapurna mountains tops....

Das Resort übertraf all unsere Erwartungen. Das Personal, die Lage und das Ambiente waren herausragend. Wir haben uns sehr gut erholt. Das Frühstück auf der Veranda mit Bergblick und einem kreisenden Milan-Pärchen wird unvergessen bleiben. Das Schwimmen im See ein Erlebnis! Das Mittag- und Abendessen war gut. Hierbei muss man jedoch berücksichtigen, dass das Resort fast im Nirgendwo liegt und die Beschaffung sicherlich eine große logistische Herausforderung ist. Für Menschen die Erholung suchen kann ich diese Anlage wärmstens empfehlen. Herzlichen Dank an das ganze Team für die tolle Zeit!

This is an amazing place which puts you close to the nature and induces relaxation. We were on our hiking vacations in Nepal and The Begnas Lake Resort & Villas was our base near Pokhara. It is not a place for persons who cannot walk. To get in and out of the hotel to the road one has to climb almost 300 steps. The location of this resort is amazing. Gorgeous lakes and mountains. Beautiful views everywhere. Lush nature. Interesting plants. Swimming pool. Hammocks. Opportunity for boating. The cottages are nicely appointed and comfortable. The food was excellent. Breakfast was included and offered great variety of fresh options. We ate also 3 dinners there and they were very good. One evening there was life Nepalese music and dancing. Whenever we sat on the balcony and terrace to read a book or take advantage of better Wi-Fi they immediately offered free soft drinks - water or tea. The Wi-Fi in cottages is poor. We did not partake in the Ayurvedic spa treatments due to lack of time, but we met some European travelers staying for up to 2 months there for a variety of rejuvenating treatments. They loved it and bragged about the perceived health improvements. The treatments are apparently supervised by a physician. The owners are very attentive to their guests. Very interesting, kind and professional Polish-Nepalese couple trying their best to take care of their guests' every need. Given a chance we really want to be back at The Begnas Lake Resort & Villas for more hiking and perhaps the Ayurvedic spa treatments. After one gets up to the road, the hotel is a short walk away from other interesting villages.
