Location is perfect for visiting Leavenworth. I booked and paid for a last minute room via ******* and got a good deal, however on arrival I realised I was in a room in the basement with no window so it made sense that it would be so cheap! The receptionist on arrival was really helpful and kind however I realised after I checked out that she also charged my card again rather than place a hold. When I realised I was in a different state and so I contacted the hotel immediately by email and Instagram and they have still not replied. I raised an issue via ******* and they struggled to reach the hotel to begin with, but then received confirmation that I had been charged again in error and would be refunded immediately. It has been nearly 2 weeks since I checked out and I have still not received my refund. The smell of sewage was strong and I found hairs in the paper coffee cup and found the floor sticky. The bed is comfortable and the shower is great, there is free coffee available and vending machines on site. Overall for what I paid I shouldn’t have expected much more than I got, a relatively comfortable one night stay however due to the fact I have still not received my refund for the double charge I would not stay here again.

Room was standard hotel room for a higher price, loved the drink tokens, easy parking and access. Front desk staff was super nice and efficient. Just seemed a little pricey for a small room and the other guests were very noisy.

This is the best hotel choice in Leavenworth! Clean, cool, pet friendly, good price, comfortable room and space, nice employees. The bathroom was beauitful, the bed and kitchen comfy and usable, the available coffee very handy. If you must stay at a hotel with the "free" breakfast (for almost twice the price), go for it. But for us The Leavenworth Local is the only place to stay!

Very cool building for a unique stay. I loved all of the fact boards that they posted throughout the hallways.
I would say that the only negative was our room was next to a connecting room and you could hear the people in the other room pretty clearly.

A wonderful job was done converting an old school building to a hotel. The staff are friendly and responsive. A 4-star review was given because the room did not have windows, the keurig coffee machine had a layer of dust on it, and there were no spare toilet paper rolls in the bathroom. Thankfully, we were able to get one promptly when we asked. While the room we used did not have a window, the shared-living area outside of the room did have windows.

Low key property but plenty offered if we wanted to do it. Next stay we would branch out to some other restaurants. Leavenworth is a nice little town,close to Weston where went for the day.
