In addition to the personal connections our staff forge with guests, many visitors come to us because of our convenient location. Within 30 minutes (many activities within 5-15 minutes!) by car, you could hike/bike/walk many of Lancaster’s outdoor trails; see a show at Sight & Sound, American Music Theatre or Fulton Theatre; experience thrill rides at Hershey Park or Dutch Wonderland; visit local farmer’s markets such as Lancaster’s Central Market (the oldest continually operating indoor farmer’s market in the country), Roots or Green Dragon; shop at Tanger Outlets and many of the boutique retail shops and art galleries; dine at hundreds of casual to fine dining restaurants; and learn about Amish life by taking a variety of tours at places like Amish Experience (on property).
In 2014, we added a private, connected, adults-only building with 40 Grand King rooms. These superior accommodations are perfect for couples looking for a quiet getaway in Lancaster County. All Grand King rooms in this five-story building have oversized windows with amazing Amish farmland views.

This is our favorite place to stay when we visit Lancaster. The room is very nice, and the bathroom is luxurious! It's close to everything, but not in the middle of the touristy chaos. Breakfast is wonderful, and the view from the rooms is so beautiful. Such a great place to relax!

Absolutely loved everything about hotel! Loved the farm view from our room, the beautiful hotel and room decor, the buffet breakfast with made-to-order breakfast options, the convenience to local restaurants and tours (Amish buggy rides, Amish farm and home tours, Smokehouse BBQ) all right next door. We were steps away from everything we wanted to do. What a treat to not have to drive all over to take various tours. The hotel common areas and individual rooms were all very clean. The location was perfect and a short drive to the Sight and Sound Theater. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again when in the area.

We absolutely LOVED our stay at Amish View Inn! Our room was huge, with a large bathroom (clawfoot tub, separate shower, two vanity sinks), a kitchenette, and a WALL of windows with the most peaceful view. We stayed in the “adults only” wing, and it was so quiet. Delicious breakfast, great location, couldn’t ask for more

We spent three days at the Amish View Inn with college friends from PA, NJ, VA & CA and had a wonderful time. Staff were very friendly and accommodating including check-in, room care, chefs. Rooms were excellent as was the daily buffet breakfast! We also did the Amish Experience with the informative movie and van tour. Our driver, Jim, was terrific. Close to Lancaster for many top-notch restaurants and set in a beautiful area of farmlands. Perfect Lancaster County experience!

A wonderful stay overnight for our 37th wedding anniversary, excellent hospitality and food choices for breakfast. The Smokehouse restaurant next door served large portions and our server Mark was the best.

This is my first visit to Amish Inn even though I have stayed in the area several times. The Inn staff was very welcoming. The Inn itself was extremely clean and the room was excellent. We enjoyed the hot breakfast to start our day and the 24 hour available coffee, cappuccino and tea was a pleasant surprise. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to my friends.

It all starts with the beautiful view outside your window! Room was very clean and a good restaurant right on premises. The complimentary breakfast is top notch, don’t miss the cinnamon rolls! Shopping close by was a lot of fun. Second time there and will be back. All the way from Florida!

We enjoyed our entire stay! The room was updated, spotless, and had a view to end all views! We enjoyed the breakfast with so many choices. The staff was friendly and courteous.
