The hotel is great, full of 19th century features, and the environment is quiet. Even in winter there are green lawns, perfect for a weekend break. Looking at the photos below you'll know how cozy it is here.

Wonderful Chateau, superb staff and fabulous gourmet meals with locally sourced products and very unusual wine pairings suggested by the sommelier. Highly recommended

The rooms are tired, the garden is really non existent, but a swampy pond in front. I think it’s better to find a hotel in central Rennes and go out to dinner there. There was no air conditioning so summer nights are difficult. The staff is very nice and I think there is potential since the building is pretty.

Déçu par l'hôtel, ravi par le petit déjeuner
Le lieu est vraiment magnifique, mais j'ai malheureusement séjourné dans une annexe du château.
La chambre n'est vraiment pas digne d'un 5 étoiles, téléviseur entrée de gamme, décoration fade, pas de bouteille d'eau ni machine à café, pas de gel douche (mais 2 shampooings).
Fortes odeurs d'égout dans la chambre (jai demandé un changement de chambre pour la seconde nuit qui n'a pas été réalisé...), extrêmement désagréables...
Peut-être que les chambres dans le chateau sont de meilleure facture...
Seul point positif : petit déjeuner exceptionnel, au très bon rapport qualité prix, constitué quasiment exclusivement de produits faits maison et de très bonne qualité.

This was a wee night of luxury , after 4 weeks of self catering & before we caught our boat home. We liked everything about the Chateau including the staff. Sitting outside with a glass of wine listening to the birdsong was a joy. We enjoyed every morsel we ate in the restaurant & were pleasantly surprised that it was almost full on a Tuesday evening . Breakfast too was most enjoyable, I can’t think of anything that wasn’t available . We particularly appreciated how much food was made in-house using their own home grown ingredients &/or sourced locally ……well done kitchen team. We would very happily return .

We only stayed for one night , but we will be back !! Just superb attention to detail. Professional and helpful team, everything was spotlessly clean. A fantastic stay albeit very short . Thank you and give star hotel . Parking was plentiful and the walk around the ground very enjoyable.
