Yeah, ummmm: internet has been out most of the night, their snack area has no food, there’s mold in my shower, and no microwaves in the rooms. Paris Hilton should have to spend a night here - I won’t again.

So we have stayed at this particular hotel 4 times total and it has been a decent place to stay— until this last visit. They changed their cleaning products for the floors to Fabuloso— one of the strongest smelling cleaners out there. (I recognized it from the health clinic I worked at.) The strong smell was so terrible we were unable to sleep the first night. We tried to air out the room via the bathroom fan all night. With windows that didn’t open we could do nothing. We had to move rooms our last night to add another bed for an adult child on our reservation and the entire experience began again with a clean room. To make it worse, when washed with Fabuloso, the floors don’t get clean, they just smell clean. I took a towel from the bathroom to try and wash down the scent with water and ended up with a very dirty towel on what was supposed to be a clean floor! As I worked in housekeeping in a hotel all through college, this made me not feel great. Upside to the hotel— staff is friendly and kind. Management, please stop using this awful cleaner that gives headaches and doesn’t clean! Use your bathroom germicide— that doesn’t seem to smell. We won’t be back until it’s changed since strong smells are also a migraine trigger— not to mention it was just too hard to sleep with the strong smell.

The small rooms (two queen beds) have a dorm sized refrigerator, NO microwave, NO coffee/Keurig type coffee machine in the room, NO closets or dressers. There is an area above the refrigerator that has hangers but that is it. The “breakfast” leaves a lot to be desired. The pancakes and the apples were the only things that were edible. And I wouldn’t drink the sludge they called coffee. We were traveling with our baseball team and for the amount we paid per night for four nights, was pure robbery for “Hilton” standards; utterly ridiculous for the quality of the room.

The check in was pleasant, room was comfortable, but the breakfast experience was disappointing. Trach cans in the breakfast area were overflowing by 7am, the food bar was messy, with no one keeping things clean, though we saw a housekeeping person visiting at the front desk with another employee. Children had smeared syrup and spilled orange juice on the padded seats against the window. None of the tables were clean when we went to have breakfast either. It was an unappetizing experience, so we had to pay for breakfast at Panera.

The bed was terribly uncomfortable. Not at all what I expected for a Hilton hotel.

Breakfast was not as advertised. Minimal choices, no danish or sweet roll
