Residence Inn Laval

I've stayed at a lot of places in Montreal and this is one of my favorites. Beautiful new suites, full breakfast with a lot of selection. The Residence Inn is right off the highway, so easy to get to. There's a lovely plant-filled Cafe a couple doors down with amazing pastries. The breakfast area doubles as a nice get-together area in the evening when staying with colleagues, and has charging stations when you need a work station post-checkout in a pinch.

I have stayed at this hotel twice, both week long trips for work. I travel to Montreal a fair bit and this is usually the most economical Marriott property in the Greater Montreal area. It’s a nice newer hotel. As is typical with the Residence Inn brand, there is no restaurant on site and not many at walking distance but many options for delivery. The included breakfast is good but not extraordinary. I recommend staying here.

Excellent front desk service after long trip from Boston 5 hrs. Get lower level floor #108 A lot of amenities like kitchenette fells like home away from home. Good breakfast buffet a lot of choices from health stuff. Close to parking lot from room, easy access to the free way.

Besides the fact that room service was pristine, TINA and ALLAN were amazing employees. Always made sure we got what was needed and treated us like we lived there. Every hotel needs an Allan and a Tina cause they were amazing. Please give them a raise cause your standards exceed beyond expectations.

I had a terrible experience with this hotel. The 24/09/2023 I checkout 7hours late at 7pm i was supposed to checkout before 12amso they told me to pay 200$ for that. After this i went to my room take off my suits put them in my car. I came back 30mins after to the reception. They took of my credit card 330$ i tried to have some information to know why the price is 130 then what we talked 30min before. They told me it is this price because the price of the room is 257$( i payed 205 for the night before not 257) and 330 is the price with the taxes. After what my manager called them to know why it is 330 they said because i was aggressive so its maybe penalities . But i have an audio of all the conversations with the reception and my manager checked it and Comfirmed that i never been agressif and that i told her sorry for the miss understanding of the late chekout 4 times and really calmly. I dont know why i had been victim of this racism or i dont know what is it but It's unacceptable. They didnt send me my deposit yet. I strongly advise against this hotel.

"The lobby was beautiful and cozy! They have a gym on the first floor with everything you need for a good workout in the morning or at nighttime. The room was well-designed; it was like an upscale one-bedroom apartment! Overall, this was a 12/10 experience. This will be our go-to hotel for the Montreal trip. The staff, especially Veronica, was incredibly kind and wonderful, making us feel welcome."

I am staying at this brand new hotel with lovely design furniture and colors. The front desk staff are very friendly, and the location is good. However, the cleaning is a serious issue. Housekeeping only came every other day, which was fine, but when they did clean our room, it was a total disaster. Today was our first cleaning, and I was shocked to find that the trash can was still full, there was hair in the sink that hadn't been washed out, and the empty tissue box was not replaced. Even the shower glass door was still dirty. It was clear that the person who cleaned the room didn't even bother to clean anything properly, they just arranged the bed without even cleaning it or changing any linens. This was extremely disappointing and unacceptable for a hotel of this caliber especially that it is an empty hotel and I bet not much rooms need to be cleaned. I would not recommend staying here until they improve their cleaning standards.
