Pine Motel

The motel property was very clean. Rooms appeared clean but the bathroom was not up to par. The woman at the front desk is sceptical of guests and the whole time we were in the office she barely took her eyes of the security monitors except to accept the payment. I understand the need for security cameras but this was overkill. In a ***** of 6 rooms there were 3 cameras. Almost felt like there might have been one in the actual room. Bed was comfortable but with such security we felt we should have slept on the top of the sheets not to mess the room. Only 2 pillows for a queen bed and they were flat and small. Coffee in the room was barely more than coloured water and so weak we just tossed it out and headed down the road to Timmies. Road noise is loud being right on Hwy 17 as would be expected so you will not want to sleep with a window open.

Small point call ahead of time to have heat placed in your unit prior to arriving.

Cold night Room was very clean. Staff was very friendly Hotel room was kept uncomfortably cold, bedding was super thin, no extra blankets, very cold night. I have stayed here before without issue, but that was in the summer. I wouln't stay here in the winter again.

The Pine Motel is great place and very friendly owners

Perfect place to stop on our road trip. Clean, comfortable and updated room. Friendly staff. Coffee maker in room. Bathroom was clean and updated.
