Very friendly, very clean, very comfortable

Friendly, prompt check-in service; housekeeping courteous & helpful with replenishing bath towels. Breakfast hot, good variety.

Worth the money The hotel was clean. Breakfast was good and hot(biscuits and gravy, waffles, eggs, sausage and potatoes. Beds were okay. I booked it because it had a pool. After check in was told pool was closed for repair which is understandable. When we got back to room after breakfast our room was over runned with ants that wasn't there earlier.

I was traveling alone, I did not feel safe. The receptionist was great, she whispered where my room was, so other guests didn’t hear. Upon entering the hotel, it smelled musty and moldy, which carried into the room. Shower was stained, paint was bubbling off the wall, in the room. The only positive, the bed was so comfortable, like sleeping on a cloud and great pillows.

Beautiful little town that has great character. It has wrapped its very existence around a great couple and a cable show. Great stay, quite a bit to do, friendly locals. Great hotel, clean, local. Keep in mind that nothing opens until 9 to 10 am. So sleep in, get some breakfast, and enjoy your stay.

Our room was a bit updated, but all in all it was the staff was very friendly and made sure we had clean towels and sheets every day. Breakfast was OK nothing to brag about, but it beat having to go out and find breakfast and pay for it. We ended up only eating the muffins and making cups of coffee. The kids were sad when we got there because the polls closed and they didn’t have a date of when the pool would open either. Honestly, the hotel wasn’t the best really it’s the staff that made up for what the hotel lacks.
