Great Hotel -- Have stayed here several times before. It's clean, quiet, has a team who provides great customer service, nice breakfast. We like the location and access to restaurants. It's one of the best we stayed along our trip back East.

Had a great experience at the holiday inn express in LaPorte! The staff was extraordinarily friendly, the hotel itself was beautiful and clean the breakfast was great! The room I was in was clean and comfortable. Will definitely stay here again!

This hotel really needs to get it together. We booked three nights over a week in advance. After a long drive, we arrived around 6:30 to find out they had given our room away because they overbooked themselves. We were informed that there was nothing in the area with vacancy due to a festival. After hours of looking, our family ended up having to drive almost an hour in the opposite direction to find a hotel. We were able to stay the next two nights at this hotel as planned. Our room had a pervasive smell of ********* and could have been much cleaner. We would have just moved hotels completely had we not needed to be in the area. Very disappointed in the overall experience.

Clean, spacious, updated rooms. Staff was friendly and professional. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Lighted mirror in bathroom is a nice touch. Breakfast in a large area with good selections. Will definitely be back!

My wife and I attended a wedding in la Porte and stayed at the Holiday Inn Express. Our room was large with a king bed, large flat screen tv, coffee maker and wifi. Free coffee and tea is available all day in the lobby and each morning a delicious breakfast buffet is included in the room rate. Staff is friendly and helpful. On site free parking is provided and the hotel has a gym and heated indoor pool. The Holiday Inn is a good choice when in la Porte.

I’ve been struggling to find an acceptable hotel in the area, and haven’t been able to for a while. I’m an elite Marriott guy, and their local choices are quite terrible. I’ve tried a few brands, then recently had this location suggested to me. Wow. Simple, but done right. Spacious, clean, well-appointed rooms. Bed and linens are among the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. After 10p, could hear any noises. The only potential downside I can see is that they use a brand of HVAC window unit that I know is noisy when the AC kicks on…but at least in the cooler months, it’s quiet. By far the best spot in at least a ~30 min drive radius.

We stayed here after watching Notre Dame play. It was a perfect distance and towards our way home in Iowa. We easily checked in later at night after the game. Our room was clean. Breakfast was outstanding. We were not expecting much with all the pandemic changes but it was one of the best breakfasts we had compared to similar hotels. Would highly recommend this hotel.
