Some good, some bad. Though you have a nice room with fridge, microwave, sink, 2-burner cooktop, and cupboards, Woodspring provides no dishes, no pots, no cutlery, no coffee maker, no hairdryer, no iron. All you get is 2 towels, 2 bars of soap, toilet paper, one tiny bottle of shampoo, and the bed sheets, blankets, & 2 pillows. (Oh wait--you also get 2 plastic-wrapped flimsy cups). You have to be prepared to round everything else up for yourself. The best thrift store is St. Vincent De Paul at 1020 S. Washington in Lansing. There are grocery stores & shopping centers nearby for food. On the plus side, it is located in a beautiful area & because the hotel is far from full it is quiet. The most maddening thing is they reboot the internet every morning about 5:45 am so that it shuts off for 10-20 minutes crashing everything you're doing. If you're an early riser, you will definitely be tearing your hair out just before 6am. The price is very good, so I may stay here again. But if they raise the price in the spring, forget it.
