A beautiful and tranquil farm just a few minutes outside McGregor, offering plenty of on-site and nearby activities. Relax by the serene duck pond, take a walk to the upper dam, or enjoy a peaceful paddle in a canoe. The staff are exceptionally friendly, and the breakfast options are generous. If you’re staying in the Barn Cottage, which boasts the best views on the property, consider bringing earplugs as the charming oak tree nearby may drop acorns onto the roof at night (we understand this is being addressed).

We stayed at whipstock with our two sons. We loved swimming in the dam, and evening braais with a view of the mountains. It’s peaceful with lovely trees. Sindy is a wonderful host.

Fantastic value for money. Lovely host, incredible views of the mountains and such a joy to be hold spending evenings here. Well equipped cottages. Close enough to Mcgregor if you feel like dining out.Nice short walk to a clean dam to go cool off

A secluded venue with great views and good potential for long walks and bird watching. Further outside of the village of McGregor than we thought but still a good location for the nearby Lords Winery and others in the Robertson area.

My husband and I travelled in celebration of our 10th anniversary. We had the privilege to spend a night at Whipstock. The scenery is breath taking, and the cottage was clean and neat. Thank you, Sindy for your hospitality and sharing a bit of paradise with us.
