Overall this place was wonderful. It is a small and intimate and the staff is super friendly. My one gripe is just that they don’t replace the towels as often as I would have liked. You mist plan ahead as well as they close quiet early and if you are a late nighter like us then there is practically no service during those times. My husband and I enjoyed our stay nonetheless. Great location by the beach too…

Crystal Lagoon Lodge is a very beautiful property that is situated on the beachfront. We had a seaview room which was picturesque. We had a wonderful time away

Stayed over the festive period into the new year, location is absolutely spot on. Cant get closer to the shore line than Crystal Lagoon lodge. Breakfast variety available on order each morning , although i think fresh fruits & yogurt should be also available .Room opens into a lovely breezy balcony with breath taking views . Room layout somewhat needs more thought , as a pole sticking out of the wall for hanging clothes in front of the tv is just not On ! Bathroom nice amenities supplied & replenished .Secure parking available & strict security on the property entrance makes a holiday eacsy care free . Loved my stay..& will be back.

The lodge is situated on the beach and has a stunning view from the balcony. The rooms is clean and well kept, however there is no air conditioner in the room. We waited almost 1 hour for our breakfast. There was no hot water for tea and coffee facilities. We had to ask for warm milk for porridge. They are disorganized and my feeling is that the owner is not open to improvements. He/she is making the working conditions for the staff bad as they are trying their best to be friendly and make up for things that is outside of their control.

Crystal Lagoon Lodge is in a great location, right on the beach. We booked a room with ocean views which are breathtaking. The room is however tiny, barely big enough to swing a cat. There are no cupboards, just inadequate shelving so if you are staying for more than a few days be prepared to be cramped. The room has no aircon, something you would expect from a 4 star establishment. The room gets very hot and uncomfortable in the afternoons. Do not stay here if you are older or have a fitness issue - there is a very narrow round staircase you need to get up with your bags. The check-in staff were less than friendly and made no effort to assist with our luggage. The day we arrived there was no power. They do not have a power backup solution. We arrived with food items we could not refrigerate. Again unexpected from a 4 star establishment. The breakfasts are satisfactory however the service is below standard. Several days the cereals were not put out. When we enquired the one day we were told that they were doing a stock take. It was 8:30 in the morning! We will not be staying at this venue again. There are nearby venues which are competitively priced which offer a significantly better product.

The views were stunning. The staff were very friendly. The breakfast was delicious and the cooking staff took into consideration our halaal requirements. The plumbing was a slight issue where the water drained slowly especially in the bathtub. But overall a pleasant experience.

We have booked a few nights at Crystal Lagoon lodge. We currently have no power. There has been no power the entire day. Other places in the vacinity have power backup solution but here we are sitting with no hot water, power and WiFi. The service has been mediocre. There is a narrow staircase and no lift. We had to carry our heavy bags up three storeys without anyone offering any assistance. Certainly not older folk friendly. Given that this is a four star accommodation, this is not on! Let’s hope things improve.
