The cabin was adequate for a comfortable stay. We appreciated the faux fireplace for warming us up, the recently renovated bathroom, and the well stocked kitchen. Unfortunately, the wifi connection was very spotty for us and we did find a few mouse droppings inside a kitchen drawer. Other than that, the place was extremely clean and well equipped. The proximity to Belknap is awesome for an adventure and time in the hot spring pool. The setting is very magical near the river! We found the living room furniture arrangement to be a bit awkward for conversation or watching a movie, and the beds are very soft, for those who prefer former mattresses. When all is said and done, I think we would likely stay again in the future!

While the details of the property listing are accurate, it’s quite misleading if you’re looking for a property for 7 and don’t look at the fine print to see that the three beds in the garage cost an extra 125/night! It was already pretty expensive and too late to cancel without losing all of our money, so all 7 of us crammed in the little cabin. Seems pretty greedy to charge that much extra for a room!

It was more rustic than I expected but very comfortable. The deck space was relaxing and nice. It's a great spot to enjoy the sounds of nature and we didn't see any neighbors while we were there. The kitchen was fairly well equipped but additional drinking glasses and some wine glasses would have been nice. There are restaurants and a store surprisingly close by and the Obsidian Grill even offers some gluten free and vegan options. Two very minor complaints about the house: 1. It has some funky smells - old home where someone used to smoke? and mildew/mold in bathroom. 2. There is no streaming service on the TV. I like to stream a movie or show in the evening after a day of hiking. The DVDs I was most interested in watching were empty cases. Overall though this was a great experience and the home is located right near lots of beautiful waterfalls and trails. I would recommend it!

It was a nice place but due to our family size(4 kids 2 adults) the host made us pay extra (375) for the space above the garage. Unfortunately there is no A/C above the garage so the kids had to sleep on the couch and floor in the main cabin. Location is beautiful. Would recommend for a family of 4 or less so they can all fit in the main cabin with A/C.

Family vacation The set up was cozy and just enough room for 5 of us. The waterfront setting was beautiful. Close to everything we wanted!

Cabin Getaway Weekend The cabin was nice, more roomy than I expected. The river is not right up against the cabin, you walk a short path to it. The water was moving quite fast when we went so we didn’t let the dogs get in but otherwise would’ve been a nice spot to do so. The gas station 3 miles away has the most food options in the area if you are trying to make things at the cabin. The place across the street from the neighborhood had good coffee and the BBQ smelled good but we didn’t get to try it. Overall nice place if you are just trying to have a place to stay in the area with a group of people.
