"I had a great trip . We enjoy the lake view . It was close to all the activities. Ladybird lake is only steps away. You can rent kayaks at a walking distance and get into the water at a walking distance.As well. We went for a fourth of july.We were able to get an affordable room with a lake view.And everybody was very friendly and helping. The only one complaint is that there is no fan in the restroom for when you go.It is the only thing that was odd to me.But the room is very beautiful.Clean, comfortable, and I would stay again. We stayed for the 4th of July and we got to enjoy the fireworks from the pool area and we had an amazing day. Thank you ."

"Cambria is a newer hotel amidst the redevelopment projects taking place near Rainey Street, a historic landmark of homes turned into entertainment venues. Cambria is opposite side of the spectrum with innovative decor and relaxation. Note that parking costs 49USD per day with valet access only. We chose not to rent a car based on our needs in Austin. Came to visit my son and his family with my eldest son, so we wanted to have some options near nightlife activities. Local drivers shared info on the changes made to the nearby historic street, and staff was friendly with all needs. The water statiins were a plus. Where I think Cambria can improve is in the price of the rooms, menu items and operation hours of their lobby bar/roof bar since staff was short during our stay. Walking to the entertainment street required the back alley short trek, and that aspect took away from the lush atmosphere of the hotel. Grafitti and Limestone hotel venues can easily adjust their marketung strategies towards in-house entertainment along with the Valet arrangement to flow more smoothly and affordably. It’s a lovely hotel which can become full circle staycation with a few adjustments regarding that aspect. New business developments working alongside grass roots businesses is key to smooth changes for both visitors and long-time locals. The pool atmosphere is great, the gym is clean, and the first floor waiting area an easy meeting spot."

"The room was great! There can't be service if no one is at the counter. This place is so confusing. Indigo has one side and everyone has to check in there. No one is on the Holiday Inn Express side. Let's just say lots of walking and trying to figure out where to go good luck! The free breakfast was just ok. If they gave me a room credit I would stay here again, they at least owe that. Parking is a rip off, almost $50 per night!!"

"Went on a surprise staycation this weekend for my birthday at the brand new Hotel Magdalena. This place really impressed me- I’m surprised to be the first reviewer. Magdalena is right off South Congress Avenue, but it feels like an oasis all on its own. The whole hotel has a cool retro 70s aesthetic- with the lobby and features of the room like old school lamps and our exposed wood balcony as stand outs. That’s a difficult era to pull off, but I think they did it well. Everyone was warm and friendly at check in, and they had plenty of dog treats for the pooch. Shout out to Ryan at the desk. As far as the room, I loved the blue tile bathroom and our view of the skyline. The bed was a little firm, but we still got a good night’s sleep. As far as COVID, everyone was wearing masks and signs were posted all around the buildings, and I saw staff cleaning public areas multiple times during my stay. They also have time slots (2 hours) for guests to use the pool. I’m guessing this is to limit guest contact. Favorite highlights included the large pool in the middle of the courtyard (heated, with LED lights) and the restaurant, Summer House on Music Lane. The food is out-of-this-world good. If you stay here, have a meal- you won’t regret it. We got the steak and the bass with cocktails. Amazing. Our server, Laura, was knowledgeable and accommodating too. Right off of South Congress, amenities that can’t be beat, and dog-friendly- Hotel Magdalena is a real gem in the heart of Texas. I look forward to staying again!"

"The lobby of this hotel is luxurious and spacious. The hotel room is also large, the bed is comfortable, and the hygiene is good. It is a hotel that exceeds my expectations. The facilities and services are first-class. Even in China, it is considered a top-notch hotel, let alone in the United States."

"I was really lucky to stay at Tommie this time, getting a great deal. It was super convenient for the conference I was attending, and there's breakfast right downstairs. Plus, it's right next to the famous Bar 6th Street, so it might get a bit noisy at night, but overall, it was very comfortable. The front desk staff were all incredibly friendly, and the gym was well-equipped. I'd definitely stay here again if I have the chance!"
