"Do not expect a five star stay at that historical place - expect a decent hotel, with one or other ”discrepancies”. The staff was at the check in and on the check out - verry verry friendly, already given some informations, about places to go and what is not worth to go. The room cleaness - was okay - the Hotel itself, they know, that they cannot - and i think they don´t want to match with big groups. A big advantage is a free parking space at the road, the Hotel itself, was quiet during night! Close to the Hotel - there is a starbucks coffee for breakfast . All in All - if you want to stay - as it was in former times - stay there."

"Fantastic Hotel in perfect location, there is an abundance of great restaurants and shopping in the area It has a lovely pool area and parking which is extremely rare. Brad who has worked at the hotel for 43 years was wonderful to deal with, very informative and friendly. We would highly recommend and will return."

"Grab and go breakfast, buffets closed due to covid 19. Room clean and stayed cool even when the lights went out. No service provided during weather event. Had a working generator but didn't support the elevator. Overall I would visit again, workers courteous "

"This hotel was beautiful and pictures didn’t do it justice. My husband and I came to New Orleans to elope and they were so nice to let us use their courtyard. Not only that, they gave us a complimentary breakfast and free champagne. I would definitely stay again!"
