Hotels near Wat Huay Pla Kang, Chiang Rai

"A very beautiful place, worth attention. If you are in Chiang Rai, you should definitely visit it. Very clean. Tasteful. Two comfortable beds. Well-kept bathroom. Bedroom with decorations. There is a mirror, a chair. Own kitchen. They changed our towels every day, brought water, offered cleaning. They even washed our clothes. The garden is simply magnificent. Lots of different details, small sculptures, there are even photo zones. Flowers. Cats running around outside. In general, we had a great rest 😇"

"The hotel itself was pretty nice and in a good location. Only things there were problems with the booking - with the contact information I couldn‘t reach somebody until today and the staff at the hotel was not trying to help either."

"This is the best hotel in Chiang Rai, and one of the best in Thailand. It's brand new. I'm planning to return for a longer stay soon because I absolutely love the extensive breakfast and the lush green courtyard with ancient trees. Cycling around the grounds every day brings me so much joy. The service is also top-notch; whether it's the front desk, restaurant, or room service, everyone is excellent. Special commendation for the breakfast! I have three suggestions for improvement: 1. Please carefully check the bedding selection. It feels a bit rough and not smooth. 2. Install smart toilets with bidet functions (you only need to add a bidet seat). 3. There's a very tall, large tree outside the breakfast area, but unfortunately, I don't know why there are no squirrels 🐿️. If possible, please introduce some squirrels 🐿️; they would be a great, free marketing tool and would capture guests' hearts. I really like you all."

"I recently stayed at this hotel and had a mixed experience. On the positive side, the hotel was very clean and well maintained. The amenities were excellent, including a swimming pool, gym, bar, spa, and several food eateries, which made the stay convenient and enjoyable. However, there are several areas that need improvement. The air conditioning in the room was not cool enough and was not effective, making the room uncomfortable at times. The rooms are also due for renovation, as they look quite dated. The Wi-Fi connection was poor, especially since we were staying on a higher floor, making it difficult to use the internet reliably. Another issue was the lack of soundproofing we could clearly hear conversations and noise from neighbouring rooms, which affected our rest. Lastly, the reception service was quite slow, and the check-in/check-out process took longer than expected. Overall, the hotel has good facilities and cleanliness, but improvements to the rooms, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, soundproofing, and reception efficiency would greatly enhance the guest experience."

"Despite its low price, hotel is very clean and modern as its relatively new. Very near airport. There's a big c opposite hotel and a makro behind which is very convenient. Hotel provides free coffee, chocolate drinks and biscuits in the morning. Its easy to call grab as they can pick you up at the hotel. We enjoyed our stay very much."

"100% would recommend staying here. Great room. Nice and spacious and provides an amazing views. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Although I barely speak Thai. Mostly English, I’m thankful that I go above and beyond to try and understand and luckily I have a Thai partner. 100% will come back again next year"

"The room is clean, the service is great. Staff are friendly. Breakfast is very good with several food options. The location of the hotel is very good, right in the city center. The hotel has a lovely pool that closes at 9 pm. I will definitely stay here again next time."

"Hotel was pretty and extremely clean. Staff were lovely. Breakfast was fantastic with a pretty view. Lady at breakfast even recalled where we like to sit.  Nice outlook from room but would have liked to have been higher as it would have afforded a better view of the river. Alternative offered was higher up but oddly shaped and near the lift so we declined. Room was lovely and spacious. Room was very clean. Cleaners do an exceptional job. Things to be aware of: it’s very geared to families so lots of children due to the amazing splash park. Lots of people from Asia and continental Europe.  The biggest let down for us was the television. Yes it was a flat screen but must have been one of the earliest. Not a smart tv so no chrome cast even. Essentially there were only two English language channels and they were both the news. Great if you wish to feel depressed. We ended up watching Thai boxing. I love watching tv in bed late in the evening so this was disappointing and surprising for a five star hotel.  For the ladies, the in room goodies were basic, nothing luxurious.  However, it is still a really nice hotel with a lovely pool next to the river. It is very clean and pretty. If you don’t care about the lack of tv channels or lots of kids then don’t hesitate to book."

"The hotel is located next to the river in a quiet area near a famous temple. It is beautifully decorated in a northern-style design and is very well maintained. I had a good experience staying at the hotel. Overall, the service was excellent, and the facilities were good. The fitness center equipment is a bit old; however, it is still well maintained."

"The service was friendly and the staff were proactively attentive, offering information about shops near the hotel. It's close to the Saturday night market, well-equipped with amenities, and the bed was comfortable for a good night's sleep. Parking was convenient with a car park right at the entrance."
