"Good location and stone away from the attraction site. Many cafe and restaurants around. In fact, just outside the hotel. It will be better to book the suite room that come with a good view. I was amazing by the facilities in side thw room that they provide steam cleaning for you to use it."
"Spent three nights here, overall good especially considering the price, just 10 min walk from the station, walking distance to all attractions
Self check in, no staff
Bed is nice, comfortable and clean, the bathroom is too but walls, bed's headboard and chair are incredibily dirty, clearly a mistake to get textured/cloth-covered walls and chairs because the stains are almost impossible to clean, the overall vibe of the room feels dirty even if it's clearly been cleaned (and floor, bed, bathroom are clean)."
"We arrived at the hotel around noon time. The hotel is very close to the KTX train station, 5 minutes walking. The front desk was very helpful, she checked our registration, lend me an umbrella, suggested our city walk in Sowan. The hotel is in great conditions, though we don't have time to experience the Gym, swimming pool, also the restaurant. We will use this hotel again upon our next visiting to Korea."
"I visited with my child! Overall, the accommodation was incredibly clean. The gym and breakfast were also free for one person, so we only paid for one extra. The room was very tidy, and best of all, each floor had a microwave and various other amenities, which was very convenient. Its proximity to Suwon Station is also a huge plus.
However, it was a bit disappointing that we could occasionally hear singing from a karaoke place nearby at night. Those who are sensitive to noise should keep this in mind."
"Overall, it was clean and quiet at night. You could comfortably walk around barefoot, truly on par with a 5-star hotel! Due to environmental considerations, toiletries weren't provided. The front desk staff all spoke English and communication was very smooth, resolving any issues promptly. The staff were polite and enthusiastic, and there was even a Chinese check-in guide, which was a thoughtful touch and absolutely wonderful!"

The location is superb, right next to the subway station, making getting around incredibly convenient. The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The facilities are comprehensive and relatively new, and the wet/dry separation in the bathroom was very practical. The front desk handled check-in efficiently and professionally, and since the occupancy wasn't high, they proactively upgraded our room for free, which was a pleasant surprise. The breakfast offered a rich variety and tasted great. Overall, this stay was excellent value for money, very suitable for family travel, and a truly satisfying experience. I'll definitely prioritize staying here again on my next visit."
"Super hotel👍. If I had to pick one slightly less positive point, it would be the curtains – they were far too long and close to the bed, causing me to nearly trip over them several times. There's free Netflix, as they share their account details, which is a bonus for those who enjoy Netflix. In our case, we're more about relaxation and travel than TV. But we weren't opposed to watching a movie or two 😅"
"The hotel is surrounded by plenty of dining options, which is incredibly convenient. The area really comes alive at night. While the room size is a bit on the smaller side, the facilities are brand new and everything is spotless. Plus, on the second floor, you can do some light cooking, and there are small meeting rooms, a gym, and a laundry room available. I'd definitely recommend staying here for business trips."
"I booked to stay after the SM Town concert. The road was blocked and I walked, but it was close to the Suwon World Cup Stadium. I checked in late at night after 12 o'clock. Even though it was a relatively cheap room, I had a bathtub and used it well. It was good to be able to get an ice cup for free on the first floor. The water came out well and the bathroom and the room were large. Stayed well."

Great
VVivi SoegyantoI had a very pleasant stay at the Marriott Suwon. My daughter and I received a warm and attentive service—special thanks to Manager Owen, who kindly assisted with my early check-in. After a long journey, this thoughtful gesture made a big difference and set the tone for the rest of my stay.
The hotel’s location is another strong point. Situated by the lake, it offers a scenic atmosphere that’s perfect for relaxing walks or simply unwinding with a view. At the same time, it’s conveniently linked to a mall, making dining, shopping, and daily necessities easily accessible without having to travel far.
GGuest UserThe location is fantastic. The airport bus station is right in front of the hotel, and the ticket booth is conveniently located right there. We took the bus to Gangnam, and the subway station is just a short 100 meters away, with escalators for easy access. The staff was incredibly kind, helpful, and friendly. The room was spotless and well-maintained. The only downside was the absence of a microwave. However, aside from that, everything else was excellent. If we ever visit Korea again, we’ll definitely be staying at this hotel.

AAnonymous UserWonderful hotel. The location is very convenient — right by the metro, making it easy to get to the university. Housekeeping was done daily upon request, and the bed linen was changed with each cleaning. I was pleasantly surprised by the Russian-speaking staff, which was completely unexpected in South Korea. The receptionist only spoke Korean, but with the help of a translator, we always quickly resolved our issues. Thank you very much.
GGuest UserIt's close to a lively area, and there's a 24-hour convenience store right outside, which is very convenient. However, for check-in, you need to call the front desk to get the building's access code. If you don't have a phone, please be aware of this.
SSparklee14The room was clean with basic amenities. Housekeeping however was almost nonexistent for our 10 day stay. Someone came once in a while to empty the trash bins but the sheets were never swapped out nor the floors ever cleaned. All communication was done via text messages. I called the number on the booking confirmation and got a text almost immediately asking me to text any questions.
My biggest problem I had however was the fact that episode does not have en elevator. I was put on the 4th floor and hauling up my huge check in luggage’s were no joke and hauling back down on check out day nearly broke my back.
All in all, episode stay is located in a quiet alley with a CU located just steps away for store runs.
If you need to take public transportation, the bus stop is close by. If you travel with a lot of baggage, pray that you get a room on the 1st floor.
SSolo AceI ended up arriving early and was willing to wait for my room to be ready, but my room was ready, and I was able to go in. Everything was very clean, and the service was top-notch. It was pretty easy to get around and not too bad if you had to take a taxi. The area wasn't noisy. There were plenty of places to eat, including a healthy sandwich shop around the corner. I wish I could remember the name, but the ingredients were fresh, and there was English available, so no guessing. The place is like a Salady, but for sandwiches. Anyway, I had a great stay and would definitely stay there again.
SSolo AceI have been coming to this hotel for a little over a year, and I never had any problems until they started making changes. I understand charging for basic amenities, but can you at least put a bar of soap in the bathroom for handwashing. I also didn't have the nice LG clothes closet that refreshes your clothes. I wasn’t able to freshen my jacket, and the mattress is also harder. They did install a bigger TV and added better TV remote directions in English with a channel listing. But what did it for me was during the checkout. In the past, when I had a lot of bags to carry to the KTX or Bus Terminal, they always were helpful in calling me a taxi. I asked like I normally do, and not only was I denied, but I was also waved off as if he couldn't be bothered. I tried to tell him that I was going to the KTX, but he kept saying airport taxi across the street. Due to frustration and time constraints, I left. I didn't want to miss my train. I will definitely patron another hotel after this. Disappointed.
GGuest UserThe guy not speak any word in english and even if I said that a booked a room he wanted to make me leave the hotel ! So, don't try to speak with him, just show your name and the reservation, he will give you the key and at your depart you have to leave it in the elevator, it's cold but that's how is it. We sleep in a ondol room (matress in the floor) ; the room is not pleasant (rather dilapidated) but the matress is confortable, you have kettle and one time coffe-tea-water, hot water in the shower ; it's enought to be in good condition. The localisation is pretty good, not too far from the citadelle maybe half an hour of walk.
