Hotels near Gallery Chungwa, Gyeongju

I had stay at the king rooms, The bed was big and comfortable, big room with plenty rom to store bags. The bathroom was clean with big shower. The host was very friendly , i was able to leave my bags before check in and check late. Location is amazing jut few minutes walk from the park with the graves of the kings. quick walk from bus top to train station, the bus takes about 40 minuets to station.

Stayed with friends on a 3D2N trip. Location was generally good, close by to main shopping area, easy to get on buses and/or to call for uber. We really loved the breakfast that was included as well as free noodles being provided (cooked in a bowl). Water, coffee and teas was provided throughout the day (pantry and a separate cafe that was right beside the main entrance). There was even washer/dryer, laundry pods to purchase from them also available however we can’t comment much because we didn’t use them. Service was a hit/miss. Was greeted enthusiastically by an older gentleman, explained everything well and was very willing to share nearby eats and things to do. However, while I tried to use delivery app (that they advertised in the room, even for international travellers), the young man was not very proactive to solve our problem (unable to input Singapore number). However overall their service I will say is still very polite. Room is generally clean. However as my legs are more sensitive to bedding’s fabrics, I could feel “things” on my legs that was in contact with the beddings. That being said, we didn’t experience any skin reaction or bites. To add on, they had self service luggage locker outside of their entrance where we stored our luggage after checking out. However, to note that there is limited number of locker so would advise to store earlier in case it’s fully used. Would definitely come back here next time!

Stayed for one night and absolutely loved it. The location is very convenient, with a bus stop nearby, making it easy to get around. The owners are incredibly friendly and kindly allowed us to check in early. They also went out of their way to help us navigate the city and suggested visiting Bulguksa Temple instead of Golgulsa Temple, which would have been too far for a day trip. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking to explore Gyeongju comfortably.

The room was clean, warm, and very comfortable. The staff provided excellent service and were always friendly and helpful. I had a great stay and would definitely choose this hotel again.

Room was spacious but we were allocated on the 2nd level and our view was entirely blocked. When booking the description was mountain/city view but we did not have any view at all which was really disappointing. There's one day they did not do housekeeping as well. On the other hand, location was good and walkable to all the attractions. Breakfast was decent too.

사장님이 너무 친절하셔서 리뷰 남겨요 !! 연휴라 남는 방이 부족함에도 불구하시고 방 업그레이드를 해주시려 노력하시는 모습을 보고 아 다음에도 이 숙소 와야겠구나 생각했습니다 ㅎㅎ 제가 예약한 룸보다 더 큰 룸으로 업그레이드 받았구 방 컨디션도 좋았어요!! 황리단길 가는 길에 대릉원?이 있어서 구경하고 사진 찍으며 가기 너무 좋았어요 숙소 리뷰를 남겨본 적이 없는지라 서툴어 남긴 사진이 없지만 ㅜㅜ 먼지에 예민한 저에게도 만족스러웠던 숙소였습니다.! 기본적인 어메니티도 다 제공되어 있구 2층 로비에서 추가적으로 수건이나 생수를 들고 갈 수 있어요 전자레인지랑 포트기도 있어서 쉽게 쓸 수 있고 숙소 1층 나오면 입구 바로 옆에 씨유도 있어서 정말 편하게 지냈습니다 아 그리고 냉장고도 큰 냉장고라 냉동, 냉장 모두 유용하게 잘 썼습니다 친절하신 사장님 다음에 경주 방문하게 되면 옹기 또 방문할게요🫶🏻🫶🏻

The hotel is located in Gyeongju's historic city center. Its location makes transportation incredibly convenient, as it's just a short walk to two main roads, with easy access to taxis and buses. It's also very close to a large local market, making dining and shopping very convenient. The owner is very friendly, though they only speak Korean. There's a lack of signage or information in English or Chinese within the hotel. As someone who frequently stays in hotels, I could manage based on experience, but it would be much more convenient if some guidance were provided.

The TV is large, making it convenient to watch dramas. The breakfast is also plentiful, and you can even cook instant noodles for breakfast. The coffee latte is also quite good. If I had to point out a drawback, it would be that there are too few power outlets. There is only one by the bed and one by the sink. If you need to charge your devices, you will need to bring a power strip.

This hotel is right next to the Gyeongju Express Bus Terminal and very close to Hwangridan-ro. It's tucked away in a small alley in downtown Gyeongju, making it easy to find. The decor is a simple Scandinavian style that I absolutely love, with ”windmill lamps” as a unique decorative element. The room was incredibly clean, and the warm lighting created a cozy atmosphere. The owner was also very patient and attentive, providing almost perfect assistance with my questions! I will definitely stay at this hotel again next time I'm in Gyeongju; it was truly fantastic! P.S. The owner has an incredibly intelligent and adorable little dog! 🤩

I hate to give a bad review but this staff member was probably the worst I ever came across. Be aware the check in is 10pm - much later than others. The room itself was fine, very happy and wanted to extend, but the staff member insisted checking out, then coming back at 10pm, even with extension. When I asked him, he said “it’s not my business”. Terrible attitude. He then tried to charge 20,000 cash for keeping the “free upgrade” I was given. No idea why you give with one hand and take with the other. Had to complain and argue and even still they refused refund for second day. Took me 3 hours or messaging to get money back. Just avoid. Sadly a great place, location so so but the staff member we dealt with was the worst person I’ve met in Korea.
