Hotels near Pecatu, Bali

I recently stayed at Dhong Livin Uluwatu and had a pleasant experience overall. The hotel is relatively new, well-maintained, and surprisingly peaceful despite being located in a busy area. With only a limited number of rooms, it feels private and exclusive rather than crowded. The swimming pool is a nice feature and provides a relaxing atmosphere. We stayed in the Deluxe Suite, which was spacious and comfortable for two people. One thing I appreciated was the small pantry area equipped with a microwave, sink, coffee and tea facilities, and basic cutlery, making it convenient for light meals and drinks. The staff were friendly and welcoming during check-in. However, as the property operates with a more private and independent atmosphere, we did not see staff around very often throughout our stay. This wasn’t an issue for us, but guests who prefer a more service-oriented hotel experience may notice the difference. The location is excellent for exploring Uluwatu. Padang Padang Beach and Thomas Beach are only about 6 minutes away by motorbike, and there are plenty of cafes, restaurants, and shops nearby. However, I would not recommend walking around at night as the roads are quite dark and busy with motorcycles. There are a few areas that could be improved. The room floor can become slippery, so providing slippers would be a thoughtful addition. The bathroom also lacks a separate wet and dry area, meaning the toilet area gets quite wet after showering. Additionally, there is no hair dryer provided in the room. I was aware of this from previous reviews and brought my own, but it may be inconvenient for some guests. Overall, Dhong Livin Uluwatu offers good value, comfortable accommodation, privacy, and a convenient location. I would happily stay here again when visiting Uluwatu.

I'll start with the good things. We liked the hotel. There were rooms with direct pool access, which was lovely for a quick swim followed by relaxing in a cozy armchair on your small terrace. The room didn't have a fridge, but they brought one when we asked, which was great. It's a shame there's no safe. However, we were pleased to find all the necessary amenities in the bathroom, including a razor. Also, the daily cleaning and pleasant room scent were a nice touch, well done! Breakfast was served in a separate building nearby, on an open terrace with a sea view (though the sea was quite far away 😉). The breakfasts were excellent! It was à la carte, so you could choose whatever you wanted – from avocado toast with salmon to a huge portion of an English breakfast. Now, what we didn't like. The location. It's impossible to get anywhere without transport. There's nowhere to walk, and the hotel has no grounds. And what we really didn't like. Our friends accidentally broke a wine glass and honestly reported it. They were charged (no other word fits) an absolutely exorbitant price – 300,000 rupees. This is equivalent to half the daily room rate, which is unbelievable. Unfortunately, this significantly marred our stay at this hotel.

The hotel's ambiance was superb – it's incredibly spacious and wonderfully quiet. We stayed in a golf view room, which was huge, with a king-sized bed (two meters long!) and a large bathtub. We had a really comfortable night's sleep. The service was excellent; the lady at the front desk who helped us check in was lovely. As for facilities, the lobby has a pool table and live music. The breakfast was also fantastic with a wide variety of choices. On top of that, the hotel boasts a massive gym, a ping-pong table, a large swimming pool, and a spa. Unfortunately, due to our schedule, we didn't get to experience them all, which is such a shame!

The service was great. Every employee was really nice. The shuttle to and from the airport was well-organised. We rented scooters from the hostel. The room was clean. Everything was great.

Not a bad hotel, but it needs renovation. Pros: large grounds, breakfast included, a pool. Cons: the room was rundown, a bit far from the sea, no amenities nearby. Great for a couple of nights!

I really loved this hotel, even though I had some doubts when I booked it. The rooms looked a bit uninviting in the photos, but they're much better in person! The staff are wonderful and always ready to help. The room has everything you need. I wanted to point out that instead of an iron, there's a fantastic, compact garment steamer, which is just perfect! And the hairdryer is quite powerful! The room has all the essentials, and it's cleaned daily. The only downside I can mention is that we stayed on the 4th floor and had to take the stairs every time, but on the upside, the pool is on that floor and offers a decent ocean view.

An absolute gem in Uluwatu! Lomo Boutique Hotel just launched on June 5th, so they are still in their soft-opening phase, but everything available right now is top-notch. The shared pool is massive, crystal clear, and eye-friendly thanks to their daily pH checks. The water pressure is strong, and the incredibly friendly staff is quick to adjust it if needed. Huge thanks to Pak Chandra—staying in the 2BR villa was next level! He was so accommodating and handled our situation perfectly. Cleanliness is a 10/10, and the aesthetic is that hyped, trendy Mediterranean vibe. Highly recommend! Amazing customer service! The Trip.com team is truly on another level. The way they handled our cancellation and refund was incredibly fast and hassle-free. Highly recommend booking through them!

Seascape is truly an amazing place to stay. Everything about this place just feels right. The accommodation is wonderful – clean, comfortable, and with a beautiful view that you can enjoy every single day. The view really makes it extra special and helps you completely relax. What made our stay even more memorable was the staff. They are incredibly kind and welcoming. A special thanks to Novita, Anjani, Bayu, and Amri for their warmth and excellent service. They truly go above and beyond to make you feel at home, always with a big smile. The breakfast is also delicious, with plenty of fresh and tasty options every morning. I would definitely love to come back here again. Highly recommended!

I stayed there one night. The towels were so gray they were scary to dry off. The bed linen was okay, but there were stains. The night light by the bed didn't work. The soundproofing was so loud you could even hear your neighbors plugging in. There's a road nearby that's very audible at night. My neighbors went out to smoke at night, and I could clearly hear their doors opening and their conversations, and the smoke was blowing right into my room. There's an unpleasant smell in the kitchen. I wouldn't recommend it.

Hotel was good value for money. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Went out of their way offering shuttle service. Rooms cleaned every day and food was very good. We paid for breakfast when we booked and there was lots of choice. Got a free massage with the booking, great addition to the visit.
