"Service was excellent, each time we called in reception, they got to our room in no more than 3mins. They were all happy to help, with smiles all the time. The bed was really comfortable and HUGE. The room was suuuuper spacious as well. However, we felt that the room’s cleanliness and attention to detail could be better. The bidet, light switches and bedside table tops were oily & not wiped down properly. Room service food was lacking as well - pizza crust tasted like biscuit… mango & banana smoothie didn’t taste anything like the fruits. brownie was good tho it was a tiny portion… Amenities wise, the gym was very dusty & untouched. One of the treadmills could not be turned on as well. Overall not very well maintained but honestly cant expect much bc its quite a small hotel. Pool was alright - just that they could work on making a higher/deeper barrier/ drainage system bc the pool water kept splashing out to the walkway pavement. The walls are not sound proof, we could hear alot of talking outside & there was loud construction early in the morning at 8am which the reception did not warn us about as well. Overall given the price, i would say its pretty worth it if you don’t mind these small flaws. I would say that the service of the staff made me look past some of these flaws. But they definitely do have to work on them."

"We stayed for 7 days and enjoyed many aspects of the villa. However, after our stay, both of us experienced significant itching and bite-like reactions. We also noticed suspicious black spots around the bed area during the stay. We cannot confirm the exact cause, but future guests may want to carefully inspect the bedding and mattresses. Management should consider checking for bed bugs or other insects. Other than this issue, our stay was pleasant."

"we stayed for 3 nights so the size of the room is just right, there is a balcony and a pool, which we didn’t use but seems nice and overlooking fields. cleanliness was alright, you have to request for amenities. the location is great and close to everything we need. the walk in to the hotel felt safe too. overall, good for a short stay."

"This new hotel is definitely worth staying at. The price absolutely matches the environment. It's a hotel with five independent apartment buildings. The only drawback was that we were assigned to building E, the furthest from the lobby, so we had to go up and down stairs every time we left. However, the room was indeed spotless, and they provided at least six bottles of water daily. If that wasn't enough, the hotel was more than willing to provide more. The staff were incredibly friendly. Even though we were staying in the furthest building, they told us that if we called them when checking out, they would send staff to help us with our luggage. They were also very proactive and helpful with guests. However, you really need to consider Bali's traffic situation. It's not ideal to stay only in the Canggu area every day. You should adjust your accommodation area according to your travel plans. It's definitely worth mentioning that the hotel's water was very clean. I was initially very worried about the water quality for showering and even bought a filter, but it didn't turn yellow at all during our entire six-day stay. One suggestion for the hotel: I hope they can provide a magnifying makeup mirror for women. The yellow full-length mirror combined with the yellow lighting was really unfriendly for applying makeup."

"We were so thrilled by this beautiful villa stay! The room is very comfortable with a very spacious and special bathroom that comes with an open air shower and a huge bathtubs, I enjoyed a quiet soak on Nyepi day. I loved how considerate the villa operator and the staffs were during Nyepi that they offered the guests to use the kitchen at another villa to prepare meals on this day. I truly felt so warm by their offer. The private pool is also very nicely done where we could just soak in it during the hot day, chilled by the pool side. I will definitely come back here! Thank you for the hospitality and keep up the good work!"

"Enjoyed my stay, rooms and hotel were clean, all staff were very polite and friendly. Good location, Canggu is a little quieter than some other parts of Denpasar, but still has everything you need. Had secure parking for a car which was good. The rooftop pool was very nice too. Would recommend."

"Amalfi Hotel is fine if you’re travelling solo and just want a cheap place to sleep while you’re out exploring most of the time. The room is very small, so it’s not really somewhere you’d want to spend a lot of time in, but the bed was clean, the air-con worked well, and the location is decent. There was quite a bit of construction happening during our stay that we weren’t told about, and it started early in the morning, which wasn’t ideal. We had a few maintenance issues. The shower flooded the first time I used it but to their credit it was fixed quickly. The shower head wasn’t secured to the wall which made showering awkward, and on the last day the bathroom fan started leaking. There was also some mould in the bathroom and on the body wash containers, which look like they’re refilled but not properly cleaned. That said, the staff were genuinely lovely and helpful whenever something came up. Overall, if you’re a solo traveller looking for a cheap room in a decent spot and just need a comfortable bed to crash in after a day out, it does the job. Just don’t expect a full holiday-style hotel experience."

"I loved the location, the hotel, and how clean it was. Thank you, Poce! The room was clean and newly renovated. There were singing birds in cages in the courtyard. Hot water was always available. There's a shared kitchen with a kettle. My only small complaint is that there were only two small bottles of water. I slept very well here, thank you."
