"Everything is good except the bed sheet, it kept slipping off after sleeping in.  It's a flat sheet too small to tie down on the edge and corners.  We asked the staff for help and we tried to do it ourselves but it was not fixable because the flat sheet is just too small to secure the bed coverage.  The staff members are super friendly and they do try their best to help you.  The spa in the hotel is also great.  Overall the experience is beyond expectations.  The location is also great and safe.  "

"Booking this hotel was definitely the right choice. It's just a 5-minute walk to the train station, a large supermarket, and a tram stop. There's a convenience store on the hotel's lower ground floor, and a bakery (great for breakfast). You'll find a variety of restaurants nearby, including Thai, steak houses, Chinese, and ramen! A 15-minute tram ride from downstairs will get you to the amusement park, and if you want to go to the beach, it's a straight 15-minute walk. The hotel's breakfast was a bit limited, pretty much just what was shown in the pictures. Nothing particularly exciting. The dinner options at the hotel restaurant weren't extensive either, with steak at £24 and fish and chips around £16, plus a 12.5% service charge (which all restaurants seem to add). I'd recommend making a reservation for the Thai restaurant."

"Not very happy at all. Paid £69 for my room which id fine HOWEVER then charged £70 for my 2 dogs (Was £20 per dog) now they get their own package which all has to be left at hotel. They need their own room for that price. The package doesn't warrant that extra cost for single night stays at all. Next millions of unsupervised children running round the hotel from check in to check out. More like fun house than peaceful quiet family Hotel. Asked for quiet room away from traffic and footfall however I think they gave me the opposite including a reeving motorbike at 7am no messing around. They got couple shouts out the window from other customers at hotel."

"Everything about our stay was fantastic greeted beautifully when we got there, room was lovely and clean, facilties brilliant, never a bad holiday experience hotel is beautiful, staff are always so lovely and the entertainment was brilliant will be booking again soon best hotel in blackpool didnt want to leave always a pleasure to stay there my son really enjoyed it wants to come back already you all take care be booking again soon could please keep me updated with the entertainment that's on for the rest of the year"

"The Grand Hotel is north of North Pier and is a huge hotel with many rooms facing the sea, and a spa, pool and gym. We stayed there for 4 nights and walked everywhere (including to South Pier and the Pleasure Beach), so the location was good for us. The hotel itself is nice and the rooms were spacious with an amazing view towards the Tower and North Pier. The pool, sauna, steam room were great, and cost only £2 per person. All staff we encountered were friendly. We would stay here again."

"The hotel staff is very enthusiastic and can help if you want to change rooms or have any problems with the facilities. Although the breakfast is not rich, there is a breakfast shop next door that opens at 9:30. The facilities are a bit old but basically all can be used."

"We were dissappointed in the car parking situation. It wasn't exactly made clear that you need to drive into where it was marked exit and press for them to lift the barrier. Then unfortunately there was no room so had to call into reception to find out where we could park it was a bit stressful and could have been avoided. The hotel itself is very secure as you need to press for access to the entrance. Once up to reception on the first floor we were welcomed and allocated a room. The room was very tired with marked and scratched walls and ceiling. The bathroom had all the ususl facilities but a great big crack was in the tiles on the floor about two and half feet long. The shower head was dirty and the bottom of the main door was peeling away. The bed was two single mattresses put together which were obviously well used and meant there was a bump in between which wasnt very comfy. The bar was expensive for drinks and the staff seemed to multitask serving and cleaning tables etc. Some of the same staff were at breakfast and it just felt a bit overall short staffed. The breakfast itself was adequate but basic. We did notify reception on checking out of our findings as we are not usually ones to complain but the issues do make a difference and some just general maintenance."
