Graduate by Hilton Cambridge

The room decor was quite distinctive and to my taste. We stayed in one of the slightly larger rooms, but it still felt a bit cramped because the bathroom and balcony were incorporated, making the space feel tight. The environment is nice, being close to the river, which is quite picturesque. If you prioritize the surroundings, it's a good choice. However, the bed was too soft and uncomfortable to sleep on, and the staff's attitude was also rather unenthusiastic.

This was the largest room I stayed in during my UK trip. It's about a 15-20 minute walk to Trinity College and King's College in Cambridge city center. The area around is very quiet, and there's a supermarket about 100 meters away, so you can buy groceries and cook your own meals. There are also fast-food burger places nearby. Transportation is very convenient; you can take bus route 1 from Cambridge train station and it drops you right at the hotel entrance. When I first checked in, I found the cleanliness a bit lacking, especially the long sofa. However, after exploring the Cambridge University area, I realized that the entire Cambridge seems to have this damp, slightly old-fashioned feel. The shower was very comfortable, and the bathroom was also super spacious.

The room was spotless and very spacious. The hotel's location is fantastic, just a stone's throw from the train and bus stations, making it super convenient for getting to Cambridge city center and even London. They also have a gym and a pool, which I didn't get a chance to use this time due to my short stay, but I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Cambridge.

This is one of my top recommended hotels within the Cambridge University graduate student area. I frequently book this hotel for our professors and students, and every time, I receive excellent feedback. On July 17th and 18th, there was a very large event in this new research district, which was just a 3-minute walk from the hotel. It was incredibly convenient, and everyone had a great time! 😀 The biggest advantage of the hotel is its extremely convenient transportation. There's a U Bus stop right near the entrance, providing direct access to Cambridge city center and the train station, making it perfect for visiting scholars, students, or first-time visitors to Cambridge. A large supermarket is just a two or three-minute walk away, making daily shopping very easy. The surrounding neighborhood is pleasant, with many excellent restaurant options. The hotel breakfast offers a wide variety and excellent quality, ensuring a pleasant start to each day. Overall, whether it's the accommodation environment, location, or convenience, it's an ideal choice for anyone studying, working, or visiting Cambridge. I will definitely continue to recommend it to professors, students, and friends.

While the hotel itself and rooms are fine. You have to pay extra for parking which is clearly just for capitalist gains as it’s on property. They advertise a pool (one of the main reasons we picked the hotel), which we were told on arrival has been closed for years, yet no thought to advertise this online was thought of? No instead they keep a picture of said swimming pool online when it would be a simple manner of taking one picture down to stop disappointment. They keep it up to attract visitors unfortunately. The water in the room for shower and bath simply did not go hot, but rather a low lukewarm. Breakfast also cost £15 which we opted not to do due to competition prices being so much lower for the same thing. Ultimately, it was a disappointing stay mainly due to their misinformation than the room itself.

This was my second stay at the hotel in a single room 114. I decided to stay again as it was very good value and a fairy short walk into Cambridge. I had a different single room than before and it was Ok. It had a decent shower and a comfortable bed. I was very cosy. The room had T and coffee facilities, and a T pot that I greatly appreciated during my last stay. I had a better view in this single room which was nice. It is a short walk to the shops, bus stop and the museums. As I was visiting cultural venues it’s a great positioned hotel not far from The Cambridge Museum and the Castle. I really liked staying in this hotel. I would definitely stay here again. The breakfast was very good value with really good ham, fresh fruit and yoghurts, nice muffins ext. there is plenty of spaces available to relax in the hotel. If you like 90s retro the spaces are great! The staff were very helpful and I stowed luggage so that I could visit Cambridge. It’s a great value hotel for solo travellers so please keep a good price for us! A very good stay here I will be back. The images you see are of the hotel reception area, room114, the view from the window, T and coffee and images of the walk from the hotel into the Fitzwilliam Museum, Newtons apple tree and Universities. A very brilliant walk unlike no other! Thanks hotel for a great stay. I will be back ❤️

Single bed was small and not particularly comfortable, double bed was better, however there was mould on the bathroom ceiling and the toilet seat wasn’t attached properly. We were only given two towels although the room was booked for three. Otherwise, the room was clean enough and the service was very helpful. Free parking which wasn’t clear when booking.
