"Location: About two to three kilometers from Prague Castle and the main square, easily accessible by public transport or on foot. There's a large shopping mall conveniently located near the hotel, featuring a supermarket and an entire floor of restaurants. Plenty of other dining options are also nearby. Even though it's not in the city center, it's still very convenient. Room: The hygiene was good, and all facilities were in working order. Breakfast: The breakfast selection was quite extensive. Service: The front desk staff were very efficient."

"Really well located hotel, away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre (old town). Lots of restaurants and cool coffee shops within walking distance, plus a supermarket right under the hotel too which is great if you're after a snack or need some supplies. The metro A line is also outside the hotel so easy access to airport or the city centre in no time. Breakfast is good but could do with a couple more options."

"The room was quite ordinary and simple, without anything particularly special or luxurious. However, it was clean and generally well maintained, which made the stay comfortable enough. The bed was fine, and the basic amenities provided were sufficient for our needs. Housekeeping did a decent job, and overall cleanliness was acceptable throughout the stay. While the room design and facilities were fairly basic, it served its purpose well, especially for resting after a long day outside. Overall, it was a reasonably comfortable stay. Nothing impressive, but nothing to complain about either. The cleanliness was the main positive point, and the room met our expectations for a standard stay."

"Smooth check-in, efficient customer-service, decent breakfast spread & really comfy beds! Room was well equipped and we got some free biscuits by hanging a pouch they gave for when we didn't require room cleaning. Purified water available at lobby area on every floor, has sparkling water option too! Only feedback is that the AC couldn't go above 23 degrees which can feel cold after showering."

"Location-wise, the hotel is good. It’s not too far from the city center, although it is a bit farther from the main attractions. However, with a 48-hour transport pass, getting around is easy. The hotel is located downhill from the metro station. Walking down to the hotel is easy and quick, but the walk back to the metro can be challenging, especially with heavy luggage, as it involves about 15 minutes of uphill walking on a fairly steep road. There is a Vietnamese restaurant around the corner from the hotel, which was a nice find and serves good food. The hotel itself has all the basic amenities except for a kettle in the room. If you need hot water, you have to go downstairs and ask the receptionist to provide it. You can also try the local draft beer available there."

"A wonderful place to stay. There's a brewery nearby, and you smell it. Pleasant but it made me feel hungry! Not very central but Prague is a heaven for commuting. Will stay again when I'm back. Very reasonable price."

Hanging rack n 8 pcs of hanger provided. Able to dry clothes in the balcony. About 40 mins car ride from airport during peak hours. 20 mins walk to old town Metro station abt 7mins walk. Many F&B n Asian food outlets n mini marts here. Had a great stay here"

"Rating: ★☆☆☆☆ Review Title: Mishandled Room Request and Refund Refused We booked 4 nights at Occidental Praha Five but checked out one night early due to repeated service failures — despite this, we tried to be reasonable, as we are just travelers trying to enjoy our trip, not cause trouble. Our clear request for two single beds was ignored. We were given a queen bed, then moved — again to a queen. A blanket was handed to us so we could “make do.” The next day, nothing was fixed. After calling reception and waiting 40 minutes, a non-English-speaking cleaner came, confused, and simply threw another blanket on the bed. That was it. Only after Trip.com intervened did the hotel send us a fruit plate and a bottle of wine — which we did not drink and in fact returned to the reception, because we weren’t looking for superficial gestures — we just wanted the room we booked. We checked out on Sunday and requested a refund for the unused fourth night. We were told it needed approval from higher management. On Monday, we were shocked to hear the refund was refused, based on the false claim that we never checked out — despite having paid the tourism tax and received an invoice. We were also wrongly accused of drinking minibar water, which we clearly explained was untouched. This refund is for a night we did not use, and under basic consumer rights, we are entitled to it. The hotel’s disorganization and refusal to take responsibility made a simple issue unnecessarily stressful. I do not recommend this hotel."
