Heavier footsteps from upstairs can be heard. Earplugs suffice to block them. - Room details. Too many mirrors, one facing the toilet seat. Unnecessary door to wardrobe. Door of safe hangs ajar if not locked, and can hit legs quite painfully. - Blackout curtain is 25 cm from the windows, so no blackout. - Air conditioner only has a knob to control temperature, without any numbers marked."

"Not located in the city center, but it's not far. The value for money is incredible; for this price, the room is definitely worth it. It has a European aristocratic style. The hotel is small but very exquisite, and the service is excellent. The restaurant food is just so-so. What was a pleasant surprise was learning that many of their hotel's collectibles are cherished items from tourists all over the world, which is very interesting and shows great attention to detail. I loved it. When I was upgraded to a suite and asked if I could order flowers, they brought a free bottle of wine directly to my room. It was truly a fantastic experience!"

"Rating: ★☆☆☆☆ Review Title: Mishandled Room Request and Refund Refused We booked 4 nights at Occidental Praha Five but checked out one night early due to repeated service failures — despite this, we tried to be reasonable, as we are just travelers trying to enjoy our trip, not cause trouble. Our clear request for two single beds was ignored. We were given a queen bed, then moved — again to a queen. A blanket was handed to us so we could “make do.” The next day, nothing was fixed. After calling reception and waiting 40 minutes, a non-English-speaking cleaner came, confused, and simply threw another blanket on the bed. That was it. Only after Trip.com intervened did the hotel send us a fruit plate and a bottle of wine — which we did not drink and in fact returned to the reception, because we weren’t looking for superficial gestures — we just wanted the room we booked. We checked out on Sunday and requested a refund for the unused fourth night. We were told it needed approval from higher management. On Monday, we were shocked to hear the refund was refused, based on the false claim that we never checked out — despite having paid the tourism tax and received an invoice. We were also wrongly accused of drinking minibar water, which we clearly explained was untouched. This refund is for a night we did not use, and under basic consumer rights, we are entitled to it. The hotel’s disorganization and refusal to take responsibility made a simple issue unnecessarily stressful. I do not recommend this hotel."

"When choosing a hotel in Prague, you should choose one in the Old Town, near Charles Bridge. There is an astronomical clock in the central square on one side of Charles Bridge. The other side of Charles Bridge is relatively quiet, and trams pass by from time to time. The hotel we chose is on this side. "We stayed there was 4 nights. We had a very pleasant stay. The rooms were nice with a balcony . The housing keep was great. The food was great. But what we felt was when we went for our breakfast we felt that the staff at the breakfast area were not very friendly or for a fact they dint even have a pleasant smile. So otherwise its was a very good stay . A special thanks to Ms. Barbara who served us our dinner . She was very friendly and pleasant ."
